A selection of the finest crocheted geodes! Pattern is from Crafty Intentions (a genuine genius of these modern times) and if you try it, I would recommend beads in the 8-12ish mm range. I tried larger (the blue one) and smaller and that seems to be the sweet spot, at least for me!

there’s a cineplex ‘before the show’ thing that always cracks me up, because it features different types of annoying movie theatre people. like “don’t be a Tommy Texter. don’t be a Susie Seat Kicker.” but recently they’ve made a push for diversity and included a nonbinary person, and it just makes me smile because the motivation behind it is sweet but the actual textual messaging is “we acknowledge that nonbinary people can also be annoying in movie theatres.”
#my social anciety goes out the door to shit talk ppl w their phones in a theater#got someone to leave the labyrinth within like 20 mins cause of it#literally right in the middle of the theater pulling out their phone and talking.#it was a small theater too#like if you have a possible emergency just choose to sit in the back row or be discreet#its not illegal just like... man 2hrs without a phone and we all paid to be here#im even fine w ppl making commentary about the movie its part of the community experience#but like... a full ass conversation in the middle of the movie is just... ridiculous#((also to clarify i dont confront anyone super directly just like... every 5 min or egregious social violation ill make a directed comment#to the person with me. just so that the other person knows they... dont exist in a vacuum and ppl notice and are affected by their actions))
