Behind The Scenes
We went for a grey background and used orange, blue and green gels to set the mood. Throughout the shoot we tried our best to position the model, making sure she was comfortable and paying attention to details like readjusting clothing, hair and props. We managed to get photos of two looks and had a good variety of poses.

First Completed Look
Overall I’m really happy with the style of this outfit. We added fishnet tights to the look cause they helped to bring the outfit together more and since they are quite a popular piece of clothing i figured they would be good as a fashion reference.
Also a blue fur coat was used instead of a leather jacket as we felt it complimented the makeup well and made the eyeshadow stand out more!
Naomi, our model, is very small and dainty so we thought she was perfect for our shoot since we wanted a youthful and childlike model to represent how Sarah was a child and how her innocence was taken from her.

Process Of The Makeup/Final Makeup look
Just like we had planned, we went with a smokey colourful eye look. We changed the lipstick slightly to a dark purple as I felt it worked better with the overall look. We decided to keep the brows natural, as we wanted the eyes and lips to be the main focus but still fluffled them up to add more detail.

Final Set and Props
The props we chose represent different aspects of the film, such as the tiny jewellery boxes which showcase Hoggle’s love for jewellery. The leaves and moss also represent how the labyrinth is unkept and overgrown.
We will be using a silver background and fairy lights will also be added to the back ground on the day of the shoot.

Final Outfits
Our two main outfits are the ones at the top, I feel like they contrast each other well showing Jareth’s character on the left and Sarah’s character on the right.
The bottom three outfits are just extras, depending on the time we will see how many of them we can get through.
I think all outfits definitely portray the theme of labyrinth really well, while still showing an element of high fashion trends and styles.

Hair Inspo
We thought a spiky top knot bun would be the best hairstyle to suit our theme since it gives a edgy look. Since we have a bold makeup look it would be best to have the hair out of the face so the makeup can be seen clearly.

Practise Poses
These were just some practise poses we were trying out, using the blocks and some props.
We wanted to use the most out of the blocks so we tried a few positions where our model was led down or stood on them. We tried to capture a few motion shots were it looked like she was falling. We also tried different camera angles mixing between higher and lowers ones.

Layout Of Set
To give more of a labyrinth feel to our final shoot we thought it would be best to use these white different sized blocks as it best represents the film.
They’re tactful in the sense that we can adjust them and move them around in different angles, if needed, as we only have a short amount of time to shoot.
These blocks will be great for our model to work with as they will allow us to position her in a variety of angles and we will be able to capture some surreal motion photos.

Practice Makeup Look
For the makeup, we wanted to go for a smokey, dark look but still have a hint of colour. We went for a silver/blue outer eye and blended it in with a orange/yellow inner corner, we added a silver shimmer and finished the eye look with a purple based waterline, eyeliner and some lashes.
We also wanted a bold lip but to keep it edgy and grungy we decided to smear the lipstick a little bit, using a dark purple on the outer parts of the lip and adding some colour and brightness to the middle with a red/pink lipstick.
The brows were also fluffed up with some brow gel and filled in to give a fuller and fierce look!
This look could definitely be improved by going in deeper and more vibrant with the eyeshadow and also having the purple lipstick as the main colour on the lips, instead of the red, I feel it would make it come together more! The overall makeup look will be developed on the actual day of the shoot!

Outfits
For our initial looks we were able to find a few pieces from uni that we thought would work well. We mainly wanted to focus on the characters, Sarah and Jareth, as we thought we would be able to create two very different unique looks seeing as the characters are complete opposites to each other. We were drawn to the satin Victorian styled dress and the black blazer because we wanted to represent the scene where Sarah and Jareth are dancing at a Ball. For Hoggles outfit we wanted to stick to the same colour scheme he wears in the film. After we had put these looks together we realised that they wouldn’t work as well as we thought because they looked too much like a costume. Our final look has to look fashionable but still be able to represent the character so we quickly moved away from that idea.

Labyrinth Mood Board
The pictures I have chosen for my mood board are specific to certain scenes of the film which I think could inspire my groups overall look for the finished product. The digital art pictures included are for background and prop ideas and also posing ideas for our model.
