La Otra Cara Latina is now an archive. We had been on an extended hiatus for a while and recently we decided to leave the blog as an archive of the work we did. I loved interviewing and photographing fellow Afro Latinos and the response from the community was amazing. Besos para todos. - Sash

The Afro Latino Festival was Sasha and I’s first reunion in FOREVER! I’m so happy with how far we’ve come with the La Otra Cara Latina. We still have much to do, many goals to accomplish with LOCL but the fact that we’re still consistently working on this series/blog despite all the chaos we juggle in our lives, fills my heart. 

Thank you to everyone who still keeps up but also to our new followers. We have a lot of sazón in store for y'all.
