Let’s start with the non-Destiel related moments.

Oh just Dean styling his hair and winking at a cute male bartender. That is completely heterosexual behaviour right there 🤨.

Dean taking an interest in Donna’s choice of pinup. Most straight guys probably wouldn’t give it a second look, but not Dean Winchester. No he has to comment on them 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️.

We have Dean here feeling awkward around Dr Sexy MD (well…Gabe as Dr Sexy, still counts). You know who makes this awkward smile and facial expression? Me…around my crush whenever I speak to the guy (and every day I am thankful the fine as hell man is fucking dense). This man is clearly crushing on a very attractive fictional MALE character.

(Side note, I’m very much trying to stop myself from writing some Dean/Dr Sexy fanfic now…)

As it was mentioned in my comments. The moment Dean got flustered when he thought somebody was coming onto him. Surely most straight people would just say ‘sorry, I’m not interested?’ Not almost fall over a table whilst trying to back out of a room.

Also referring to him as ‘his gay thing,’ and looking almost disappointed when he found out he was just following him? Really Dean? REALLY????

And now we come to Destiel…

The infamous Dean getting a boner after Cas cleans himself up. Totally normal, ‘straight’ behaviour. There is literally no explaining that movement away. He was clearly struggling to keep himself in check when he saw Cas (either that or Jensen has some explaining to do….😬).

Dean checking Cas out and doing…whatever the hell that is? Honestly he looked like he wanted to push him against the wall and take him there and then. (But no seriously, what is that movement Jensen? Why? Why did you do that? I need an explanation!)

Look if this isn’t Dean propositioning Cas I don’t know what is? Why did he start with the ‘Bert and Ernie are gay’ comment? There was zero relevance to him getting Cas laid…unless he wanted to fuck him…which he clearly did but didn’t have the courage to say outright 🙃.

Oh look…more checking Cas out. Dean you are just not subtle babe.

‘Cas, not for nothing, but the last person who looked at me like that…I got laid.’ - Just a nice little flirty line between two ‘friends’ punctuated by a very flirty wink. 😉

And finally the favourite Dean’s eyes flicking down to look at Cas’s lips. He should have just gone for it. Would have been better than putting up with 12 years of sexual tension between them.

But yes…all completely straight behaviour right there from Dean Winchester 🤷‍♀️.

i just realised that if it was angelus instead of spike during the attempted rape on buffy

not only do i think he might succeed. he wouldn't back off like spike did after a while

he wouldn't regret what he did to her. he would've laughed and mocked buffy while she cried and screamed

and when angel gets his soul back, he is easily forgiven. it wasn't him after all. ofc buffy would take a while before getting all touchy with angel again

but if spike fought and got his soul, he isn't so easily forgiven. he has to earn their respect and trust again. not like the scooby gang ever trust or respect him

I like when Cas is just so weird to the point it’s off putting - but to like everyone but Dean.

They get in a fight and haven’t really been talking so Dean decides to go grocery shopping and invites Cas hoping that getting out of the bunker will help.

Cas hates when they’re not talking and doesn’t understand why they’re fighting in the first place. So he walks up to Dean and full on licks his face right there in the cereal aisle bc he says it helps him understand Dean’s mood & feelings in the moment

Dean immediately crumbles, apologizes, and throws Cas’s favorite honey oats into the cart. Somehow everything is fixed between them.

Until Cas tries to hold his hand and Dean flips out and starts yelling about boundaries and how they’re in a public place in broad daylight!!
