How do you explain to others that you're scared of what your body is doing to you, how do you explain the unbearable fatigue and the pain that is so intense that you feel like you need to scream... Being chronically sick is so hard.

Me, myself and my spoonie life!

So I guess I should start with an introduction, but introductions are lame. Although apparently they’re mandatory! ;) So, hi! I’m Sophie - well, duh! *waves* I’m 19 years old. I will be turning 20 in October.  I’m a spoonie, which means I suffer from chronic illnesses. I have been diagnosed with M.E - which I was diagnosed with when I was 8 years old although have been sick with it since 7 years old, fibromyalgia - which I was diagnosed with in December 2014, lupus SLE and sjogrens syndrome - I was diagnosed with both of these in January 2013, endometriosis - which I was diagnosed with following a laproscopic surgery in June 2014, and along the way I was also diagnosed with chronic pain syndrome and chronic nausea, depression, generalized anxiety disorder and separation anxiety. I absolutely love animals and I have 3 pet guinea pigs, 2 pet rabbits and a pet cat. My sister has a guinea pig and a cat, so in our house we have LOTS of animals! It can be pretty crazy at times. I am a crazy fan girl, and obsessed with all things Marvel! I also love Disney! I’m hooked on movies and TV shows. I also love to read, although I am the slowest reader in the worlddddddd! *yawn* :P I guess I should sign off for now, but I’ll be back - at your dismay! ;) TTFN - Sophs <3
