Going on hiatus

Sorry, guys! I can’t keep running this blog, so it’s going to be put on hold for an indefinite amount of time. The main reason I’m doing this is because I just don’t have a very positive attitude toward Supernatural anymore. I feel that, in fandom, as in life, if you can’t say anything nice, then you shouldn’t say anything at all. And I’m just about out of nice things to say, unfortunately. About the show, the fandom... everything. My interests lie elsewhere, now.

I still ship sastiel and I’ll probably continue to watch the show casually, which is why I’m leaving open the possibility of me returning to this blog eventually. If I ever get excited about the show again and feel that I need a separate space for sastiel-related posts, I’ll come back to this. But, for now, I’m just going to stick to hanging out on my personal blog.

okay but like… imagine sastiel after lucifer stops possessing cas

cas suffers from nightmares and doesn’t feel safe by himself because he doesn’t trust his own body and what he really needs is close comfort. cuddling, hugs, lots of physical contact, that type of thing

sam still flinches whenever cas makes any sort of movement and has trouble making eye contact and holding conversations because he’s been tricked and violated so many times (especially by lucifer) that he can’t trust the people around him. physical contact, especially from cas, sends him over the edge

and sam wants so badly to comfort cas because he knows what it’s like to be possessed by lucifer and he wants to be there for cas and cuddle with him and comfort him but he just can’t because even though he knows that cas is cas again the voice in his head saying that cas is still lucifer never lets up and he starts hyperventilating every time cas comes close and he feels so guilty because he should be there for cas but he just can’t control his visceral reaction

and cas wants so badly to comfort sam because he loves sam and he knows what sam’s going through and it makes his heart ache every time he sees sam flinch away from him but every time he gets close sam starts to panic and it doesn’t matter how much cas needs sam because sam just can’t take the contact and cas feels so guilty because he did this, he broke their bond, and now he doesn’t know if it can ever be fixed

just sam and cas, still deeply in love with each other and desperately wanting their relationship to work, separate and hurting and not knowing how they’ll ever be able to be together again

Sam and Cas being detective bros. Man, i have a lot of Sam and Cas feelings, pretty excited to know they’re gonna explore that relationship in the show, yisssss! Team Free Will needs to come together again and start kicking some serious ass, PLEASE. I miss these guys together like you don’t know!

So anyways, did this last night on livestream. Promised the girls I’d colour it tonight on another livest. but I have an appointment with a bunch of school friends I had forgotten about :( sorry girls! (Thursday night there will probably be another session, with 100% more Destiel)

I am starting to do a lot of colour work because I’m bad at colouring so I’m using very limited palettes (this one had only 2 colours) to see if I can push my colour knowledge a bit further. Hum. I like doing SPN fanart. It’s good to be back on track :)
