As someone who lives in Texas, and is not white, I can generally say a big fuck you to most of these comments. Not every white in Texas acts like this and despite what you think, we grew with the rest of society. No one rides their ponies to the saloon while tipping their ten gallon hat at the ladies, and not a single god damned white person walks around and greets people with slurs.

There are racist people in Texas. Just like there are racists in Alaska, or Kansas. Racism is everywhere but if I pinned that racism on the whole state, anyone who wasn't racist in that state would be pissed and wronged.

Don't you dare blame this woman and her out right racism on everyone in Texas. There are some pretty cool people here.
