To ask why we fight is to ask why the leaves fall. It is in their nature. Perhaps, there is a better question. Why do we fight? To protect Home, and Family… To preserve Balance, and bring Harmony. For my kind, the true question is: What is worth fighting for?

Before I start this, we can assume that in this quote, the word 'fight' and 'fighting' is referring to physical violence, not the general act of resistance. This quote comes from the popular game World of Warcraft. Specifically, it's DLC, Mists of Pandaria. This expansion introduces a new race, Pandas, and their calm style of life. But this quote goes against the main basis of Pacifism. If it is part of your nature of fight, then you will never truly find peace. We are never forced to fight or kill. We can always refuse or find a peaceful method. Fighting may be the easiest method, and it might be the best choice, but it is never the ONLY choice. As for the second half of the quote, fighting will not protect you. It will make you a target. Making peace, creating deals, and getting friends will protect you. Dipomacy needs to be preferred over War. Physical violence should not be seen as anyone's nature. It should be seen as a corruption that take our hearts when anger is let free.

But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

This is a rather famous quote from Marilyn Monroe. Quoted by people in relationships as a reason for their significant other to put up with their terrible behavior. I'll be honest. I've heard people tell others this quote. I've heard it from both guys and girls. This quote is not one to follow. Forcing someone to 'handle you at your worst' is not a good way to make friends (Or any kind of relationship). No one should have to handle you at your worst. Your true worst is something that no one should ever see. It should not be the basis of proving oneself. If someone can handle you at 'your worst', either your worst isn't really that bad or the person deserves a medal or prize. (It's more likely the former) Also, this is from Marilyn Monroe. She's not the kind of person that people should look up to. She was known for being promiscuous and performed quite the controversial performance for President Kennedy on his birthday...even though he was married...and on the 'public stage'.

This is from the famous poem: 'The Charge of the Light Brigade'. This specific part of the poem, near the beginning, is quoted as a reason for acting without thought. Now, I don't like this because of a simple belief that I have: The dumbest people are those those don't ask questions. Don't always take things for face value or act based only because someone told you to. You should act on your own reasoning. ...

But you don't have to!
