in actuality the porn bans and the age-verification shit are all mechanisms by which the incidence of childhood sexual abuse will escalate because the whole point behind them is to further the absolute control over children by their guardians by restricting them from gaining access to information that will enable them to understand themselves and their abuse and make steps to break free of it. and it is guardians of children, members of the families, with total control over children, who are incontrovertibly the ones behind the overwhelmingly vast majority of CSA. this is unquestionably NOT to protect children; it is, by design, to harm them

people who act like parenthood is some kind of righteous suffering that they deserve to be worshipped for and makes them better than childless people should kill themselves
#killing your parents should not be a crime#they probably deserved it#patricide/matricide should come with a cash reward#all your basic needs met and free therapy for life#nobody kills their parents for no reason

the assisted dying debate is so crazy
because i do fundamentally believe everyone should have the right to die when they want.
BUT if they legalise assisted suicide in the UK right now i don't trust our ableist fucking government to not just start coercing disabled people into suicide to save money. they already won't give them enough money to live.

actually, not all trauma is valid and some people do suffer more than others.
i think the little girl whose leg was crushed when she was trapped under a building next to her dead grandma for 12 hours definitely suffered more than some manchild whose mommy wasn't emotionally available for him growing up so he emotionally abuses and cheats on his gf to cope.

*reads in my psych eval that i am apparently egotistical and manipulative*
no i'm not!
*remembers that i was laughing to myself earlier about intentionally manipulating my friend into thinking and behaving in a certain way*
probably means nothing
#listen i'm trying to help him#if i keep telling him he's smart maybe someday it'll come true#my goal is to make him think harder for fear i'll retract my opinion of him being smart

“I was having such a good time picking out the stationery to write the suicide note on and thinking of everything I wanted to tell my friends and family in it, but now that I’m here, it’s kind of boring. It’s like, you plan and you plan and you plan, and then you finally get to the actual moment and you’re like, ‘This is it?’” At press time, Clark had resolved that, after so much planning, she owed it to herself to try her best to still find some enjoyment in jumping to her death.

"hey don't do this thing"
they do the thing anyway
"hey please stop doing this thing"
goes harder than ever doing the thing
"STOP DOING THE FUCKING THING"
they agree to stop doing the thing...
...and they start doing the thing again, going harder into it, telling other people about it when explicitly said not to and then even start doing in in my presence. i wish they would just say they want to kick me out instead of passive aggressively making me suffer like this.
i may as well just kms at this point.

yeah okay pout in my car like a baby (because i'm a horrible monster for experiencing distress during a minor inconvenience) while i put away the groceries because somebody has to do it or your expensive fucking milk will go bad
#i don't even drink the stuff#but i paid for it#i could have left it out to prove a point#but i consider order before snapping and being petty toward people#which makes me a cold-hearted robot ig#like. so you WANT me to leave 4 bottles of milk to rot in my trunk?#oh right it's my car#it's on me. it's all on me all of the time to perform. perform. perform.

life hack: the feeble-minded really like to hear things like "that's so smart, you're smart" and "thanks for your input, making that decision was so much easier with your help" and "i really like how you did [xyz]!" and it's a great way to heighten their mood and strengthen their confidence.
confident people are a lot more tolerable to be around than self-deprecating people, so learning these and other similar phrases are a great way to make the people around you better.
#follow for more social life hacks#inb4 someone says that being nice to people is manipulation#not sorry for manipulating you into loving yourself a little more#socially conditioning you into maintaining friendships

i think the memeification of luigi mangione has gone to work directly against the notion of further action. USAmericans' only heroes are fictional characters and as such we can only ever extol the acts of public figures in an entirely disingenuous way, thus rendering any potential cultural impact null when they are discarded in favor of some new fad. Omnipresent consumerism has made us incapable of distinguishing between the idea of change and that of entertainment.
