The new ghoul is air, and I fear I might have predicted it because of the horns on the tophat.

Victims of Other Entities: And so I watched the creature that used to be my wife sprint towards me on all fours with its neck bent at a full 180 degree angle. I only got away because it tripped and fell into the lit fireplace and turned to ash immediately. I don’t sleep anymore and I honestly wish God just would kill me already.
Victims of The Buried: God I ffucnking LOVE Dirt. OOh Boy that Shit is GOOD. No Thing on this God Forsaken planet brings me more EUPHORIA than Digging a B I G Hole. I crawl on all fours and c l a w at the e a r th as I pine for its tender Embrace. It torments my VERY SOUL that I cannot simply i n h a l e it Straight Into My Bloodstream. I’ve decided that eating fistfuls of potting soil is the next best thing.

10 Must Read LHP Texts via /r/satanism
10 Must Read LHP Texts
Full List
Since the full list is a bit hard to get started with, heres a bit of a quicker guide.
Lords of the Left Hand Path by Dr. Stephen Flowers - starting here will give you a really great launch point for understanding the LHP tradition, to which Satanism belongs. It covers many cultures across all of human history and is extremely accessible. (Overview)
The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey - no matter what you think of it, it’s important. It’s probably also not what you expect. If you plan to talk about Satanism, you should definitely be aware of this text. (Atheistic Satanism)
The Satanic Bible 50th Anniversary ReVision by Dr. Michael Aquino - the perfect, if poorly titled, counter weight to LaVey’s. A very comprehensive guide to theistic/spiritual Satanism and Aquino’s views, both genius and absurd. Gives background into the drama within Satanism. (Esoteric Satanism)
The Devil’s Party: Satanism in Modernity by Faxneld and Petersen - now that you understand the basics of the LHP and the two main branches of “mainstream Satanism”, get a solid academic grounding. Learn about the early Scandinavian Satanists and Stansislaw Przybyszewski, dive deeper into LaVey from an outside perspective, and start wrapping your head around the many different but equally valid branching paths of Satanism/the LHP one can take. (Overview)
Cain: A Mystery by Lord Byron or The Marriage of Heaven and Hell by William Blake - get started on the alternatives a bit, Luciferianism best describes these. Romanticism had a huge historical impact on Satanism, and provides a lot of ideas and imagery for any LHPer to utilize. (Luciferianism)
The Dark Lord by Peter Levenda - now we continue branching out into what is known as the Typhonian Tradition. This is simply the best book on the topic full stop. It will also introduce you to Set and other gods central to the LHP apart from Christian ideology, and get you seeing the connections to Thelema if you want to pursue that. (Typhonian Tradition)
Behold Set: Prince of Darkness by Ryan Scott - okay, recommending my own book sounds arrogant, I get that. But I literally created it to be a single book on Setianism you can check out, get the basics, and see if it’s your thing. Aquino is… Aquino and Webb publishes very short books you piece together, this is just an all encompassing look at the LHP Set from early Egypt to now. Alternatively, spend a few days on Joan Lansberry’s free Set find site. (Setianism)
Apophis Special Edition by Michael Kelley or Dragon Book of Essex by Andrew Chumbley - this will introduce you to Draconianism, a form of Satanism that tends to be much more Gnostic. Both are two different takes, I would recommend the former as more straight forward and modern, while the latter is very esoteric and ritualistic and kind of Olde English. (Draconianism)
Fire and Ice by Dr. Stephen Flowers - sorry to recommend the same author twice but he’s that good at what he does. This will introduce you to the Germanic tradition of the LHP via the Brotherhood of Saturn, one of the early Satanic/ Luciferian orgs. A much more ritualistic but straight forward introduction would be Book of Mephisto by Asenath Mason. (Germanic)
In Pursuit of Satan by Robert Hicks - we finish by looking beyond the theory, belief, and practice of the LHP to how it has be treated in our modern world. It focuses on how the police were trained to deal with the Satanic Panic, which sadly is coming around again. (Law Enforcement)
Next…. pick from the full list or your own research! You now understand the LHP and Satanism both objectively and from the inside, and are now aware of the many different paths you can take from here, whether purely atheistic or the most complicated esotericism.

*whispers* (I’m whispering because it’s very important that we keep this very low key)
hey, you know that ancient grimoire you’ve been searching for but can’t get shipped to your country, is probably on Anna’s Archives. Yeah… you could download it for free… pretty much any text you can think of regardless of how old it is, it’s probably on there… give it a little searchy search and you’ll probably find the entire book for free… just saying.
Having a hard copy is always nice. But when I’m trying to figure out if a grimoire is worth dumping money on… it’s always nice to have a little free trial,…
just saying ….
