Medical support for Aalaa's family

As of June, Aalaa is still fighting to raise money to help pay off health insurance debt, take her mother to doctor's appointments, and afford surgery for her brother.

Aalaa's mother is recovering from surgery and needs to be able to go to the doctor for check ups to make sure she is healing properly. She's been having to miss these vital appointments because her family does not able to afford the doctor's visits.

Just a few months ago, Aalaa's brother broke his foot and is currently suffering from an open fracture that requires surgery to be corrected. But they're unable to afford the operation he needs.

If you have answered no, I recommend searching him up right now! He was the first prime minister for Democratic Republic of Congo after gaining independence from Belgium in June 30th, 1960.

Unfortunately, he was assassinated on January 17th, 1961. Less than a year in office. Why? Patrice stood up against Belgium and the US. He was firm on unifying Congo, nationalizing their resources, and championing for Pan African solidarity.

64 years after his death, DR Congo, especially in the East, is going through a genocide as well as mass exploitation of their resources. Rebel groups like the M23 (backed by Rwanda) and the ADF, which is supported by the Islamic State, are inflicting extreme violence on civilians. Many are displaced and starving. They are either relocating to a safer area, or evacuating to neighbouring countries.

There is hope. DRC and Rwanda are coming together to draft a peace agreement. It will be formally signed on June 27, a few days before DR Congo's Independence Day. But we should do our part and help since education, healthcare, infrastructure, sanitation, and other branches of community are impacted!

From my place here in Ireland, I am the only hope for my large family trapped in Gaza, but that hope is fading fast without your continued support.

Family is everything to me. I could NEVER imagine life without them. Without my elderly parents, without my sweet nieces and nephews. When I evacuated Gaza, I did so with one mission: to sustain and save my family. They are still enduring unimaginable horrors under constant bombardment, running for their lives from one place to another.

Help Haneen's aunt get her daughters to safety

Haneen is supporting her aunt's family so they can escape the violence in Sudan. Her aunt's son was murdered by the RSF in a raid on their village in October, and now all she has left are her three daughters. Everyday she feels the absence of her son and fears her daughters will suffer the same fate, if not worse. She has been trying to get her daughters to safety, away from the daily threats of violence, rape, and starvation. But travel is expensive and she cannot afford the costs alone.

The funds raised will help Haneen's aunt afford the travel and evacuation fees for her and her daughters. Please donate and share so they can gather the funds they need. Every contribution helps.

My own son, little Qais, is among them. He is weak, malnourished, and sleeping with hunger in his eyes. We are pleading with anyone who sees this: please donate. Why is this happening to our children?

The famine in Gaza is growing because of three devastating reasons.

First, the ongoing war has destroyed food supply chains and left markets empty.

Second, humanitarian aid is severely restricted, with trucks unable to reach those in need.

Third, water and electricity shortages make it nearly impossible for families to cook or preserve food. Children like Qais are the most vulnerable — their small bodies cannot survive this slow and silent death.

Hello dear friends and potential saviors. My name is Ahmed Totah, I am 21 years old, my father is 67, my mother is 55, and my sister is 19 and my brothers Mahmoud 26 and Abdallah 24 and My grandfather is crippled and can't do anythingWho is 91 years old . We now live in the northern Gaza Strip.

Since the beginning of October 7, 2023, and now we are more than 12 months into the war, my family and I have lived a life of relentless violence and suffering after being displaced from our home, more than 10 to 11 times. We have been displaced to schools and relatives, and we are currently living without shelter, and we suffer from food shortages that have forced us to eat animal and bird food due to high prices. Winter has come and we have no blankets or shoes to warm my family. I want you to help me provide for my family's needs and protect them from the bitter cold in winter, and the harsh mud that floods our lives under the rain.

And our suffering in transporting water for drinking, and when it is provided, it is not pure. Diseases, especially rashes, epidemics and pollution, are spreading, while we struggle to survive without proper food, water or medicine. There is no place for anyone, especially children, but

And when it is provided, flour is hardly available through aid (trucks - bershtat) and one day my foot was run over by a truck because of an attack by people and this is because of the lack of flour.

This is all we have. Before the war destroyed our lives, I had just moved to my home in northern Gaza. It was supposed to be a moment of joy, but our happiness was short-lived. On October 7, everything changed. The day started like any other, but soon the sky darkened with smoke, the ground trembled beneath our feet, and the air was filled with the sounds of terrifying explosions. The bombing was continuous, and my family gathered together, praying that we would survive. When the dust settled, nothing was the same. The bombs continued to fall. Every day, my family and I in Gaza wake up to a living nightmare, in a race against time as the war strips us of any sense of peace and normalcy.

My father and mother kept the key to their house in the hope that they would return to it. My father was shocked by the news of the bombing and explosion of our house that held our memories. Here, our dreams of home were displaced and everything was destroyed.

Our lives are in constant danger, and we are desperate to find a way out - a chance to protect my family and rebuild our future safely. But we cannot do it alone. We need your help to escape this nightmare and start over abroad. My profession before and after the war Before the war, I was proud of my work, I studied Hakim at Al-Aqsa University and built a future for myself and my family. I had a thriving career and a home that I worked hard to establish. But everything disappeared during the war. After the war now, everything has disappeared. My work, my tools, and everything I worked for turned into rubble. The war took everything from us, and now my family lives in a tent, and we struggle to survive. We live in fear, trapped in war, everything we had disappeared one day. Our home is destroyed, our community is in ruins, and the constant sounds of explosions remind us that there is no safe place.

My family and I are trapped in Gaza, living in fear and panic as the bombs fall closer and closer. Every night, the walls shake, and we wonder if we can make it until morning. We have lost everything, and we know that our only chance of survival is to escape this war-torn land. But we can’t do it without your help. Please help my family, my friend. The money raised will go directly to cover the costs of my evacuation and that of my family. This includes:

1. Travel expenses – fare, documents, transportation for me and my family.

2. Temporary shelter – a safe place where we can rest, recover, and begin to rebuild.

4. Support to rebuild our lives – access to education, healthcare, and job opportunities in a new country.

I am Marwa, a mother of three girls, Belasan, Joan and Nada, ages 7 to 14. 🔊🔉🔈I will take a moment to share my story.📢📣

My children and I lived under bombardment and aggression. We had a safe home full of dreams and a bright future for my daughters.

But everything changed when the war on Gaza began. Our house, which we built with strength and effort before the war, was destroyed.

We lost our job, which was our only source of income. The journey of displacement and moving from one place to another began without the minimum necessities of life. We faced difficulties in providing healthy food and clean water. We lived in fear and terror. My daughters could no longer sleep from the intensity of fear.

My mother-in-law suffers from serious lung infections and chronic diseases, and we find it difficult to provide appropriate treatment for her, especially in the winter and the bitter cold. She is part of our family after losing her husband. We are now without shelter, moving from one place to another, and struggling to survive. Today we have no income, no life, and no work. We are determined to rebuild our dreams, secure our future, and rebuild our home. We cannot do this alone and we need your help in building our lives. I was standing in the crowd, just trying to get a bag of flour for my family. I didn’t even have a ration card—just hope and empty hands. Then the shooting started. People were screaming, falling. Blood on the ground, flour in the air. I survived, somehow… but what I saw there will haunt me forever.

I can’t go back. I won’t risk my life again just to bring home bread. My family needs flour—not death. If there’s any way you can help, any donation, any support… please. Don’t let that place be the only option left for us.
