Found some polaroids the other day from when I first saw ATD-I. 1999 I believe, it was amazing and they blew my mind, I was only 17 and it was my first experience with punk music. Found my people and closest friends at that show (shoutout to @79killallnormies97 !!!!! love you brother 🫶🏼), and started my first band after that. Didnt last very long but it did get me into the scene local to Assfuck, Nowherestate; you never would have been able to tell. We used to play Acrobatic Tenement and In/Casino/Out at the skatepark while mastering the art of falling, and RoC changed all our lives when it came out. I still remember the day the news about their breakup came out, my friends and I literally cried and poured one out for the band 🤣 I didn't ever get into TMV or Sparta, since I was more interested in hardcore/EDM and ecstasy after that (MDA , not MDMA kids 😜 We had it good!!!!! 💊🌠🌈☮️🩷), and I stopped caring after at the drive-in broke up, but I'm happy for them. The boys all look happy and healthy doing their own thing all grown up now.... even if Cedrick reposts weird things to his instagram. I liked Sleepercar! This was a nice trip down memory lane, thought the younger generation of fans on here might appreciate it ☺️
