bobby nash and athena grant | 9-1-1 - under pressure

[savethedots]

bobby nash's entire character arc has been about finding redemption, peace and a home. we have spent eight seasons with him battling himself and his demons to realize and recognize that that home found him in la just when he thought he was running away from it. the people that came into his life to help him heal and rejoice in both his mistakes and triumphs are his family. they are his home. to ignore that and claim a "full circle moment" by burying him in a place that only caused him pain no matter if it is next to his kids is to erase his whole character development. he found a home and he found love with athena. as christians they both believe in a reunion after death but being buried together in this world is just as important. "if i could choose, i would stay with you. always." he said it in his dying words. he wants to be with her always. "always" was their code. always means even in death. it is baffling to insinuate that this was an ending made for him when it goes against everything his character grew into.
