How to protest plastic:

1) Don’t buy plastic

Not buying plastic is a great way to vote with your money. If the consumers won’t buy it the industry will need to change. 

2) Leave the plastic behind 

This is something protesters have done before and this is perfect for anyone that needs to buy plastic but doesn’t want to support plastic. You simply remove the plastic packaging from whatever you buy and leave it in the store may it be at a till, at the door or where the product is, this is even more impactful if a large group agrees to do this at once or often.

3) Organized protests

Gather some eco friends and hold signs, use a megaphone, show photos/videos of the impact plastic has, this can help get people asking you questions and get consumers to think twice about plastic.

4) Petitions

Petitions are a great line of legal actions/protest in getting a business or government to take you seriously and willing to listen to your cause.

5) Talk with managers  

talking with managers every chance you get can get managers and even business owners to recognize what customers want.

here’s an idea, let’s give a shit about the planet that is keeping us alive. the planet that houses some of the world’s most beautiful creatures. the planet that grows our crops and the plants that keep us breathing. don’t be an asshole, do your part.
