do not 'oh it's just mascara' me i mean ANYTHING if you would hesitate to leave the house for a certain occasion without applying a certain thing to your face then you wear makeup for that occasion
#i stopped wearing make up a few years ago#tried it once since then for a job interview because i figured i would have a better chance if i look less tired and shit#but by that point make up just felt so foreign on my skin i couldn't stand it anymore and haven't worn any since#never felt like that before i stopped wearing it but i guess i must have just been used to it back then

are you anti-terfs?
"TERFs" aren't real. It's a nonsensical term popularized within the last decade that allegedly includes plenty of women who aren't even feminists let alone radical given how carelessly it's applied, usually it just means lesbian (homosexual) or transphobic woman in general. Technically radical feminism is "trans inclusive" because it "includes" all members of the female sex regardless of how they identify, so really everyone just means "male exclusive," but the language of "exclude/include" is disingenuous to even use in this situation, as if any of us controls that there are only two gametes (despite there being more than two combinations of those) and you're given what you're given before you're born.
Radical feminism is real, and males of all political leanings hate it because it gives them no credit or easy allyship points or places to hide, and males of all political leanings even those who claim to hate each other (such as far right conservatives and trans identified "leftists") are currently involved in a recent, massive misinformation campaign against it.

Compared to

Just look at all the contradicting claims about what a "TERF" is even supposed to be and you'll see what I'm talking about, but the biggest lie that's always stood out to me as someone who discovered online radfem spaces before this little trend began in 2013 is "TERFs/radfems are all Western white supremacists."
Not even Google agrees with that lol. Notice how dark the white Western nations are in the "TERF" search map, how they're all the top 5? You can't even argue that people searching for "TERF" are "TERFs" themselves because the majority of women I've seen called it don't think it's real either, or aren't feminists and proud, and try Googling "TERF" right now and seeing how many if any positive references show up.
I'm anti gender, like the "fuck gender roles just do what you want!" nonbinaries are always saying but for real lol

the relatively small-fry feminist issue that upsets me the most is that girls hardly use parks, and in every survey and study, they cite boys as the reason. skate parks, basketball courts, soccer fields, they’re overwhelmingly male dominated starting at a very young age. girls get less physical activity, get out of the house less, and participate in less play, because as soon as those spaces have boys in them, girls are either pushed out, or stop using them before they can be.
and it’s a minority of landscape architects who factor this in when designing new parks. are they well lit? are the bathrooms clean and in a busy space? do they have walking trails, roller skating loops, bike paths, rather than only organized courts? are those paths wide enough to accommodate groups? are there multiple courts/play areas, sectioned off from each other? are there lit, covered seating areas, especially picnic tables or other group seating?
in an ideal world, girls would feel just as welcome jumping into a pick-up game as boys, would be able to claim a soccer field with their friends and not worry it would be overtaken or they would be jeered at, would feel free to take up hobbies like skateboarding and go to the park on their own. but they don’t. we’re not in that world. claiming a mixed sex space is an equal one is a lie, for now. we have to meet girls where they are.

It’s kind of harder for me to participate in abortion discourse since having an abortion myself. bc now with this hindsight i feel like a lot the discourse gets it it a bit wrong and it’s hard for me to explain how and why exactly it’s just the wrong perception of what abortion is. It is not remotely easy physically or mentally and this should be much more prominent in discussion, but instead i feel like it’s all very flippant and most people have the perception that abortions are pretty simple and easy to recover from especially if you’re 100% sure and not maternal or emotional about it- which is the perception i also had. It’s only since having an abortion that i know this perception to be misguided and believe the physical and mental toll, pain, and discomfort should be at the forefront of discussions.

and almost more baffling: keeping your name, but giving your children your husband's name. i can't imagine being pregnant for 40 fucking weeks, putting my life and my health at risk, going through labor for hours and then not even giving it my name. insane to me
I find it so depressing when women get married and change their name.
#i like what the spaniards (and i think a lot of hispanic places) do the best#married couples keep their own names. kids get one name each

15-year-old girls are pressured into anal sex and getting strangled by their boyfriends because that's what they see in porn, but sure everything's just dandy
may be a hot take but i think the fact minors can access 18+ content by just clicking a button that says 'yes im totally over 18 trust me' is like. totally fine tbh. its a non-issue. i dont care if curious teenagers are looking at porn. they've been doing that for as long as porn has existed. id rather teens explore their sexuality through images on the internet than rush into real life experiences when they're not ready for it yknow. the UK is trying to put stricter age verification in place (which in turn is becoming an online privacy nightmare) and like. for what. who is it helping. why is this a problem.

i don't have a take about this game itself because it's not something i'm particularly interested in nor do i really give a fuck but the wording here is really. uh actually guys only men buy porn games especially the bad ones and only men have kinks and fetishes especially the bad ones actually. everyone knows that no woman or otherwise would ever be interested in anything like that despite. checks notes. 62% of women in a study having rape fantasies. but no only men are ever aroused by anything bad and in fact all men who have ever been aroused by anything bad should be in jail. no one else though because they'd surely never like this type of material
