Of course I'm folding laundry and listening to podcasts, because it feels productive, but really it's also avoiding taxes

My husband took the kids to run errands, so I have a precious few hours to get everything done. I desperately need to finish our taxes; it's soooo important for our family (child tax benefit, eco rebate, etc etc); emails that should have been sent yesterday (or last week even); make sure guests have the change of location for the 4 year olds birthday party (it was going to be in the park, but there's going to be a storm so it's moving indoors $$$); insurance claim applications/follow ups; my work that actually brings us money; the house is a DISASTER, ...

But i just want to play video games 😭

It's been so long since I've played video games that the switch and the computer I used are still in boxes from our move 2 years ago
