There was another slight pause before he spoke, though this time his eyes slipped from Shinigami to the bright moon above the two. The mystic considered the question, taking in a breath of the night air, which blew his ivory locks in a gentle shifting about his lower back.

"Well...of course I've thought about it. But..."

Jude looked to Shinigami again, as if those violet eyes could interpret what her question had meant, where it came from. He knew of her involvement with Karai but had the feeling that this was just a question, the kind that come on moongazing nights as thoughts rippled through one's mind, like the angel who disturbed the waters of the pool did so with the mind.

"I believe that the best thing to do is doing good with what control we do have. If more comes, the more good you could do. And sometimes, even, you've more power than you think." The albino seer leaned his chin against a hand and looked back to the moon. "...then again, I might have taken your question the wrong way. Or was I right?"

Jude raised a snowy brow, looking at the dark-clad girl who had just spoke. The albino mystic offered her a small smile, taking a moment to choose his words.

“Take comfort in the fact that even if you don’t know what to do, there is someone who does. I can promise you that.”

       “You mean there’s always someone who pretends to know what they’re doing” Shinigami sighed, returning his smile with a look of shy uncertainty before turning away, eyes fixed upon the moon in the distance.

( Jude is a Hebrew name that means "praise" and is the name of St. Jude, one of the apostles. Since Jude is also a practicing Catholic he took on a third name, Dismas, as part of the sacrament of Confirmation.)

Current Residence: A small apartment in Midtown Manhattan, in the Herald Square neighborhood.

Known Abilities:

Prophecy (the ability to foresee the future, particularly through divine intervention. These are accompanied by ecstasy, a heightened spiritual experience. Jude compares it to "feeling more joy than you can bear", and the ecstasies tend to leave him with extremely amplified emotions afterwards.)

Clairvoyance (the ability of knowing things beyond normal human measures, such as seeing events or things far removed from them, and being able to detect harmful intentions. In Jude's case, this last one is the most sporadic. When he first met the turtles, he already knew their names, and only identified them by the color of their bandanas, which had featured in his visions.)

(Though none of these ships have been done officially on this blog, in private RPs Jude has been romantically involved with a few different people in the 2012 universe. There are two main ones that are canon to Jude in general and will usually be featured in some form on the blog. Listed here are the events of the ships as they happened in those private RPs. However, RPs with these muses does not automatically mean shipping unless it's agreed upon by both parties, but might be indicated in threads in which the muses mentioned are not a part of/are NPCs in. The ships also don't and probably won't play out the same way as they did in his general canon and this isn't a restricted list, as it will be updated as more ships happen.)

Raphael: Jude and Raphael dated twice, first when he was still newly 17 and had only been living on his own for a short time. Due to struggles within the Hamato family, Raphael kept their still developing relationship a secret. Despite this, they spent a lot of time together and grew truly close; often, it would be Raph who stayed with Jude while he recovered from more strenous visions. Eventually, this turned into love and for a year they were together this way. They did break up for a short period, but neither fell out of love with the other. They tried to act as if they were only friends, but rekindled their relationship a few months later, after admitting they were still in love with one another. This second time around, they were together openly.

Casey: Jude entered a short lived relationship with Casey while he was broken up from Raphael. Casey did have some guilt for going after Jude, as he was the only one that knew of the two's relationship and how his best friend was still in love with him. Jude was the one to end things after he and Raph admitted they were still in love to each other, but they parted amicably.

Michelangelo: In a different set of RPs, Jude eventually had a relationship with Mikey, who found Jude's powers awesome. They became close after Mikey started asking Jude about his religion and remarked that the portrait of Jesus made him look like a superhero (it depicted Christ with his Sacred Heart in his hands). After witnessing one of Jude's ecstasies for the first time, Michelangelo was somewhat frightened by it, and asked Jude more and more questions about the various pictures of saints and his faith, with the seer telling him the stories of the different saints and how his faith related to his abilities. Mikey took a particular joy at the irony of his brother's name also being that of the archangel Raphael. They became closer and closer because of these (often late night) talks and Michelangelo was the first to confess his feelings with Jude reciprocating.
