Lightning Masters and their long hair

I've imagined them (long before DR s3 came out) performing a dance as a girl band, and when it's their time to do the hair flip Jay just do The Pose because he's the first LM with the short hair.. Now they give him the long hair too but I never thought it'll be That Tall Ponytail. So I pull it down. to match them. (He can join the hair flip)

The fact that while holding the katana, usually the source of power comes from the left hand, right hand is for control. And now how they trapped the opp's left hand (the source of power) to hold the chain, so the opp's strike less powerful than before, and countering it with the sickle with one hand (it's the left hand) is... well I'm amazed with this tactics.

How Njg stories/narrative overall, how is it written doesn't really click/fit/sit well with me, I end up only caring if the show tells the stories about my fave/his char arc. Its character (jay) got me fixating of and that's the reason to keep (try) watching the show. If he doesn't exist (or if he got flandarized to the point it's not him anymore for petty reasons) well.. I don't feel the need to watch it.

Bbb & LC however.. I'm currently not fixating the characters as much as jay, but I DO looking forward to their stories. How I Love the entire main cast, their characters.. between Bbb & LC, LC does better job at making me care about the side chars even they only introduced not long after, though I also care to Some of the Bbb's. LC's narrative also make me hooked even when it's not about the main cast.

I'm still figuring out how the narrative is written affecting my experiences among the shows. How I'm fixating on the char from the show I don't really care, How the other show still making me enjoy watching the Other main cast, How the other show making me a little fixated And looking forward to their stories, How they just give the other new char on screen and making me interested, but the other show Can't give the same impact on me, How they make me Care about the char.

It's for reference in making my njhsAU. What is my writing going to be like,, it's not perfect but I really try my best. The process & learning is the most important in this.

Maybe because I know the side char will be relevant to the main plot, & their little interactions pretty nice

The think about ninjago is that I know it can be a silly show. It has stories of course, and can be pretty enjoyable. But somehow, when it tries to be "serious" and "dark", it doesn't convey to me. Something just not.. actually right. I always thought because they write it as kids show. When it wanted to be deep, it doesn't get it.
