     Of course the old maester had, the king planned on asking the man to let the princess see the for her unusual bird, but the thought was soon replaced by more pressing matters about war — ah, but the old man was always a step ahead of him, it seemed.    « An educated raven.                     ❛   it was a  BEAUTIFUL raven, too.  i wish it would have stayed  LONGER,  but patches started singing and frightened it.   ❜    it had frightened  HER,  too,  just as it did every time he sang it.   and he sang it often,  not matter how much she told him to  STOP.   the maester said that soon he would  FORGET  that song and move on to another one,  but that day could not come soon enough. 

                   ❛   when will autumn end?  maester cressen said that it will hopefully be  LONG,  but how do you know when it is  OVER?  do they send  ANOTHER  raven?   ❜    if they sent one to signal autumn’s start,  would they not send one to mark it’s  END  as well?

          she OBSERVES the young girls movements, takes note of the way she shuffles around the room. the fear in the girl’s eyes is clear as day and daenerys only serves to comfort in the current moment. ❛ you have nothing to fear from them – or me for that matter. i promise you that. ❜

                    oh but she  DOES,  if her dreams were to prove true,  or else she would  SOON  be turned to nothing but ashes and  BONES,  though she doubted that she would wake  SCREAMING  in her own bed if that were to happen.   but the dragon queen seems  KIND  enough and the quells some of the  FEARS  that she hadn’t been able to  SHAKE  since the moment she had arrived,  though there is also a mind  INTEREST  growing in her young mind when it comes to the creatures that cause her so much  FEAR.    ❛   where do you  KEEP  your dragons,  queen daenerys?   ❜

❛   THE GIANTS OUGHT   to be  myths  now,   i’m afraid.   they were  FORCED  from  our  side of the wall   &   haven’t been seen by any  living  fool who dares  cross  it since  DRAGONS  roamed the earth——-   i’m not  certain  i,   or even the king’s  army  would fair  well  against a  GIANT,   my lady.   ❜

                    ❛   they sound quite  FEARSOME  if not even the king’s army could  DEFEAT  one.   ❜   maester cressen had  JUST  finished reading her a  BOOK  on them,  which had peaked her interest and  SLIGHTLY  pulled her from her shell so she may seek some  FIRST HAND  information.

                     ❛   i thought that  DRAGONS  were extinct.   ❜   of course,  she had  ALSO  heard tell that the dragons had come  BACK,  though that was a fact she had chosen not to  BELIEVE  out of fear it may be true.

                    ❛   what kind of  STORIES  do you like?   ❜    there’s a gleam of  EXCITEMENT  in her eyes,  brought there by having someone who shared in one of her main  INTERESTS.   otherwise this trip would  SURELY  have been the most long and  BORING  she had ever been on.   ❛   i like all sorts.   ❜

                    ❛   i had  DREAMS  about dragons.   ❜    she leaves off the last part,  that the dragons were  BURNING  her and no matter how much she screamed and  SCREAMED  it was too late.   she  SHIFTS  slightly,  eyes flicking down to her  FEET  and then around the room as though one may be  LURKING  in the shadows waiting for her to make  ONE  wrong step.
