“Ah-” The noise left his mouth the moment the cyborg parted. It wasn’t unwelcome as much as it was unexpected. With a warm smile his eyes drifted down to the ground before meeting Lambda’s again, “I was going to ask if  you wanted to take a break, but I think that might be my answer.”

“You know you always could have talked to me, I didn’t realize I was so scary. I also could have spoken up when I noticed how much you were staring...”

Lambda looks up from the notebook he was buried nose deep in. Pencils, books, and crumpled up papers litter the table. (Or rather, the papers were on Lambda’s side of the table.)  There was Neighthan right across from him, reading excerpts from a Biteology textbook. Seriously, how wasn’t he freaking out? That’s what Lambda was doing.

Studying was never the easiest thing for him. Especially in a dead quiet library. In fact, just focusing on his homework was a problem by itself. It seemed to worsen whenever he was around Neighthan however. Too often he found himself staring during their study sessions instead of actually doing the work. Not mention his mind going adrift with thoughts of going on dates or running his hands though the other’s hair or simply romantic thoughts in general.

Sharp canines poke into his bottom lip when Neighthan looks up from his textbook because oh no he’s giving him the sweetest smile. How can he be so cute? How does he not know how cute he is? 

Lambda blinks before getting up enough to grab one of the many highlighters he brought with him. And okay, wow. Neighthan was really close to him. Was he always that close? Did he get out of his chair too? Oh, wait never mind, he’s leaning in even closer and there’s a kiss being planted on his lips. It was probably a good thing that he chose not to wear lipstick today, lest it being smudged when he pulled away. Fruit punch flavored lip gloss was good enough, right?

“I, uh… I’ve kinda wanted to do that for a while.” He clears his throat, trying to stop his brain from making metaphorical rattling noises. “Like a really long time.”
