I, like many women, have experienced mansplaining in various forms throughout my life, but ladies, when I say today took the cake it **really** took the cake. In talking with a married male colleague of mine (I include this info just so you know he should know better), I had to listen straightfaced for 20+ minutes how he **explained to ME**—a woman who’s been getting her period regularly since the last millennia, has had gestational diabetes (2x!!), and has a child with blood sugar regulation issues—that (1) “certain times during a woman’s cycle” can cause her to crave certain foods and (2) foods can directly impact blood sugar and how the body deals with insulin & glucose.

Really??? Oh shit! I never knew these things before?! PLEASE TELL ME MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU JUST LEARNED IN YOUR NEW BOOK OFF AMAZON, CHAD!!!
