MODERN VERSE: PLASTIC MELTED OFF

born from an arranged marriage between eileen belserion and nikolaj scarlet, it was obvious that something would go wrong at one point within the seemingly happy couple. her mother suffered a postpartum depression. it was so severe that her father was forced to take erza away for the sake of the child’s safety, no matter how much eileen stated to love her daughter.

for years she had been raised by her relatives when her father couldn’t be there. since her father had full custody of erza, she had never seen her mother, nor does she desire to ( most of the time ). the woman could have visited her many times in secret, but the one time she was allowed to see the other, the younger redhead had grown a fear for the ‘scary’ woman.

currently she majors in business administration & management in order to become a chief executioner at her father’s business.

HEADCANON 004.

while erza may have found the relationship with gray and juvia at first cute, her hearing of gray saying clearly no to juvia at the ball changed it. while she generally makes some jokes about it here and there, when it goes too far, erza takes juvia away so gray can breathe. it is a win-win situation for both gray and her. after all, she can spend some time with the water mage she got attached to.

HEADCANON 003.

besides what one would expect erza to have as hobby, she likes going to the casino. she’s a master with various types of card games, and her favourites ones are blackjack and poker. she likes to study the actions of others, how they react when they either got a good or bad hand. it allows her to understand others more, and it doesn’t require one to be a social expert. don’t let her wait long however; she becomes angry when one takes too long.

HEADCANON 002.

erza tends to snack at night, especially after midnight. usually she takes either her favourite cake or small snacks whenever she’s at lucy. she knows it isn’t exactly the most healthy thing to do, but it brings her comfort whenever a hug or her armor doesn’t do it. of course she makes sure to burn of the calories, but the guilt remains once she’s done eating.

HEADCANON 001.

living in the tower of heaven has done erza more damage than just mentally. for years she had to starve, surviving on a few crumbs. it wasn’t even hundred percent the fault of those who kidnapped her. whenever any of her friends, especially the likes of sho, hadn’t enough food in her eyes, she’d give pieces of her own food because she felt responsible for them. erza would always throw excuses to make sure they didn’t worry, but they weren’t dumb.

this along with the work caused erza’s body to develop not in the natural way. while she’s strong and could easily lift at least three people, for years she remained small because she missed the nutrition she needed. erza could have easily reach 180 cm weren’t it for the fact she didn’t experience real growth until the age of either 14 or 15.

this explains that while she has broad shoulders and a big bust, the rest of her is quite narrow. her hips and her ass aren’t thus really filled compared to the likes of lucy and levy. it’s one of the reasons she doesn’t like putting her armor away until the end of the tower of heaven arc.
