She was too tired to explain the benefits of games that she just preferred to go somewhere else. She was looking for an available bench, but mostly all of them were full. She finally found one and sat beside an unknown person. “I am sorry for interrupting you, but may I seat here?” She asked politely with her Switch on her hand.

holding a book in hand, she was only outside instead of inside to get some fresh air and to feel the sun on her skin for a while. most of the days lately, she felt she’s been cooped up in her room, so she wanted a different scenery for a change. although, hearing a voice beside her, she glanced up to the person before giving a small smile and nodding. “don’t worry, you’re not interrupting much, but yeah, i don’t mind you sitting here.”

Vanessa scrunched her face. “It would be really sad, but like everything from the 90s…it’s fake.” She motioned in front of her chest, expanding outwards mimicking Pamela Andersons ‘assets’. “Confession time?” She asked before learning forward towards the girl. “I’ve lived her my entire life and this is this first city sponsored party I’ve been to. I had time tonight so I thought why the hell not?”

she gave a few nods before saying, “touche. i didn’t think of it that way. why can’t we go back to the way fashion was made? i don’t think i’ll ever get why some people are interested in clothes being made from real animals.” usually, scarlet wasn’t the type to speak her opinion on animals being used for clothes, but they were already on the subject anyway and of course, the girl loved animals, so she felt passionate about it. leaning forward, to hear better, she smiled at what vanessa had to say. “well, i’m glad you showed up. i considered not going, but i would probably just be bored at home anyway.”

To say that the Clark had plans to attend this event would be a complete lie. He honestly was just driving by when he saw the decorations outside the community center and a line full of people slowly entering the venue. So, instead of locking himself in his room to avoid his siblings, he simply pulled into the parking lot, fixed himself up to pass as if he actually tried to dress up for the event, and got in line. Two hours had gone by and Nick was a few drinks too many in and incredibly buzzed. “What’s up?” he smiled, super bubbly, slurring his words a bit as he approached the person. “Having a good time yet?” 

even though she’s only been at the party for a few minutes, she’s been attempting to find any familiar faces, but unfortunately, it wasn’t going so great considering how many people were around. nonetheless, she tried to make up most of her time by eating a few snacks for a start. she wasn’t into drinking, so anything involving alcohol certainly wasn’t her plan. what she did consider was joining the dance floor later on though. as she was taking a bite from a chip, she looked toward clark before replying with, “yeah, you can say that. i mean, i have food, so that’s always a good thing, right? and i know i plan to dance soon, so i can’t wait for that. --what about you?”

“I’m pretty sure at least three cheetah’s had to die for this outfit.” She teased, pulling the fabric of her crop top out from her chest, snapping it against her skin when she let it go. “I look like Scary Spice. Why did we ever think this was a good look?” She asked the person next to her.

“well, i, for one, think you look gorgeous. also, i hope the cheetah part isn’t true. otherwise, that’s really sad,” she replied, pouting for a moment. “seriously though, i’m kind of glad we’re having this theme for a party because i love seeing everybody else’s outfits and it seems like most are having a great time.”

feeling slightly awkward due to not being really social when it came to parties, she had a cup of fruit punch in hand as she glanced around the area, attempting to see if there was anyone she recognized. unfortunately, there wasn’t anyone yet. she was only brought out of her search when hearing a voice beside her. raising her eyebrows slightly, she looked up at luther before shaking her head. “thank you, but no thanks. i already poured myself juice.” scarlet gave a nod and went back to looking around before eventually asking, “so, how are you liking the party so far?”

Party of the decades (open starter)

Luther was for one into going to parties, when he was younger. But now, they have lost their luster. He wanted to enjoy himself but at times he still feels at a loss how to.

Luther settled standing near the food and drinks, and helped himself to a whiskey in a red disposable cup. Very college party, Luther mused to himself.

"Hello there, can I get you a drink?"

Luther asked the person that showed up to the table, his British accent shining through and a smile on his face. He wore a simple plaid top and jeans, with black shoes. It was somewhat 80s style plaid shirt without going over the top.

about

ever since she was young, dancing was her life. along with her twin, saphira, she was a part of multiple dance competitions growing up to the point where the two of them were homeschooled because of how much time dancing took up. which the girl didn’t mind at all. she loved how free it felt. with the music, dance moves, watching others, making new friends, and improving, the girl loved it all. it made her realized she wanted to be a professional dancer someday.

however, after mom left, it took a toll on scarlet. she became sad for months. she mostly stayed in her room, hardly talked to anyone, and barely ate. the only way she got out of the bad habits was because her teachers convinced her. they wanted her to continue and so the decision was made. she brought herself out of the bed and worked hard on getting better and catching up on routines.

high school came and she asked her dad to allow to go to an actual school because she wanted the experience and thankfully, he agreed. of course, she also decided to continue working on dancing by joining classes and checking out a club or two. competitions were ongoing and by the time she was a junior, she joined the cheer team and eventually became the captain in her senior year. her popularity slowly increased and she was soon well-known by the entire school, but not just because she was a cheerleader or amazing at dancing, but because she was kind to anyone and everyone. she would talk to the lonely kids at the food court, pay for someone’s lunch if they didn’t have money that day, help a friend carry books to their next class, etc.

everything may have seemed like things were perfect and filled with happiness, but that wasn’t quite right. she had a boyfriend during her senior year, but he was just terrible. he was manipulative, arrogant, and toxic. while dating him, he made herself cry multiple times, blamed her for everything, manipulated her, and made her feel small and insignificant. the only people she told were her sisters and thankfully to them, she was able to get out of such a relationship. although, she still thinks about such moments to this day.

when it came to the thought of college, scarlet was already working on her application to dance programs in universities in new york, indiana, pennsylvania, and many other states. thankfully, she was accepted to new york university and soon got her bachelor’s degree. to this day, she still contemplates on getting her master’s, but for now, she’s happy where she is and is happy to be back in crownsville. 

out of her siblings, she’s definitely the more calmer one. dealing with both of them made her exhausted for the most part. from trying to stop both saph and marleen from fighting to making sure both of them were okay when mom was no longer around, scarlet became more a sibling who looked after them. even to the point where she would start nagging them until they got annoyed. nonetheless, she cares about her family deeply and is willing to do anything for them.

personality

ever since she was a child, she was always so sweet and polite and it hasn’t changed. she would help those who need it, such as carrying grocery bags for those who are struggling or helping the elderly cross the street. she’s one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. she also tends to make sure people are alright before thinking of herself, which can lead to a bad spot at times.

she can be seen bumping into a lot of tables, hitting her head on car ceilings, tripping every now and then, etc. and she’s seen to be accident prone, but that doesn’t matter to her as she’ll just get up and brush it off.

being shy, she’s usually the one in class to not speak up, even though she knows the answer. the type to be off to a corner and eat while watching others have fun at a party. she tends to be quiet and keeps to herself around people, but her close friends slowly bring her out of her shell. such as introducing her to new people at a party and making sure she feels they’re there when she feels uneasy in a public situation.

as much as she wants to be good at cooking, whenever she tries, it always ends up as a failure. however, that doesn’t stop her from buying more cookbooks.

she only has one tattoo, but wants to get more.

her sense of style is usually girly, colorful, and filled with patterns.
