Sunday Easter Lunch at Sette at Bvlgari Hotel, Knightbridge Sette’s Easter feast is an indulgent four-course meal that celebrates Italy’s rich food heritage, and Easter. The meal starts with a sparkling cocktail with notes of peach, hibiscus and berries, before guests get stuck into the likes of an Easter Tortano, a typical Easter bread stuffed with salami, pancetta, provolone and boiled eggs; a choice of freshly-made pastas, succulent mains and the traditional pastiera Napoletana made with ricotta, candied orange and served with vanilla gelato.

Most hotel restaurants are everyone’s idea of hell, but thankfully not this one. Part of the slick and very flashy Bulgari hotel, Sette is modern Italian done right: it sticks to its roots without being too over complicated. It all resembles a supremely “fashun” take on a 21st century Milano-style trattoria. Brought to you from the folks behind New York City’s Scarpetta, the pasta is all made in house (they rave about their spaghetti, so try it) and they preach a local and "authentic" approach to seasonal cooking and ingredients. Request to sit in a booth for the best shots of the restaurant and don’t miss a round of cocktails in the underground speakeasy.

Sette’s weekend brunch is your chance to luxuriate in the impossibly stylish restaurant steeped in timeless Italian glamour. Available on Sundays only, The Good Life Brunch can either be three or four extravagant courses, and can either be more lunchy, or more breakfasty, depending on what you’re craving. Dishes include creamy, cheese-laden polenta with truffled mushrooms, and a selection of handmade pastas covered in elegantly simple sauces such as tomato and basil spaghetti or short rib and bone marrow agnolotti. You can make it bottomless if you feel like free flowing champagne, or you can try one of the several bloody Marys from the bloody Mary bar.

Hitting London from all the way across the pond, Sette is a new restaurant in Knightsbridge, that is part of New York City’s iconic Scarpetta restaurant family.
Sette is renowned for crafting Italian classic cuisine with a contemporary flair, and it is all very swish and fancy.
‘Scarpetta’ actually comes from the Italian tradition of ‘fare la Scarpetta’, which means to enjoy every single meal until the very last bite, and oh boy, can you indulge yourself here.
If you’re feeling undecided about where to eat in Knightsbridge, just know that at Sette, you can chomp down on perhaps the most delicious Tomato and Basil pasta out there – The Scarpetta Classic.

‘The Good Life Brunch’ at Sette
With its soft leather banquettes and mahogany-colored chairs, Sette by Scarpetta already has that classic New York feel. And it’s no secret that Americans know how to do brunch. Available every Sunday with a three- or four-course menu designed to be shared with friends and family, the Good Life brunch is the perfect weekend destination. It’s both relaxed and atmospheric, with live music and choice of four inventive bloody Marys (there’s also Ruinart Champagne, of course). As to be expected from the brain’s behind NYC’s Scarpetta, renowned for its pasta pomodoro, the menu features Italian favorites, such as bruschetta with poached egg, crushed avocado and cherry tomatoes, burrata with figs and a nduja croquette, and of course the classic Scarpetta spaghetti.

Sette at The Bvlgari Hotel
Naturally, it’s all about the glitz and glamour at London’s Bvlgari Hotel – and its restaurant and bar, Sette, couldn’t be more on trend. The Italian hotel brand is a master in creating the most luxurious of settings without veering into blingy territory; here this means glossed mahogany wood panelling, mirrored walls and leather seats. The first London outpost of upscale New York restaurant group Scarpetta, Sette serves up Italian food with Manhattan flair. Their indulgent pasta dishes are legendary – but if you’re just after a drink and nibbles, the Aperitivo hour will certainly meet your needs. Bartender Giacomo Ellena has crafted a short menu of cocktails for the occasion, including Negroni Mediterraneo, mixed with watermelon Campari and Cocchi vermouth di Torino, and Pacific Spritz: Aperol, pisco, pink grapefruit, agave and prosecco. Alongside this, guests can enjoy a selection of small plates from the cicchetti menu, which features tasting portions of spaghetti, short rib crochettes, prawns with spicy mayo and porchetta with Squacquerone – a fresh, tangy cream cheese from Romagna. A taste of La Dolce Vita right here in Knightsbridge.

How to make weekend brunch even better? Well, add a side of live entertainment of course. Every Sunday at Sette, you can enjoy The Good Life brunch - a three- or four-course Italian feast accompanied by relaxing live music. We recommend the burrata with candied Datterini tomatoes, spectacular beef short rib and bone marrow agnolotti and hazelnut ice cream with salted caramel and cantuccini biscuits. But brunch wouldn't be complete without a Bloody Mary, and Sette is offering a choice of four. We tried - and loved - all of them, although the spicy, Tequila-based Seargeant Pepper might have been our favourite.

Pasta may be best known as a comforting and homey dish, but sometimes it’s fun to enjoy it in plush surroundings. At the chic Sette restaurant (a New York import of the Scarpetta group), you’ll find that the signature Scarpetta spaghetti is the star of the show. Deceptively simple, the pasta is served al dente in a rich tomato sauce and it’s worth savouring every bite. Don't miss the Good Life Brunch on Sundays, which includes beef short rib and bone marrow agnolotti (which we are obsessed with).

Sitting pretty in Knightsbridge's Bulgari hotel, Sette is everything you'd expect from a restaurant located in a hotel owned by one of the world's most famous luxury brands and in one of London's poshest 'hoods. But don't let that fool you into thinking it's all gloss and no trousers: the brunch menu boasts a hearty croissant sando, stuffed with scrambled eggs, prosciutto cotto and cheddar. Elsewhere, there are the usual brunch culprits (fancy avo toast, fluffy ricotta pancakes, many kinds of eggs), with a New York spin – which makes sense, as the team behind Sette are also involved in the Big Apple's Scarpetta.
