Many moons ago, I studied abroad basically as far away from Massachusetts as possible. One day, I was walking back from class while wearing a shirt from my college back in Worcester, and this random dude was walking towards me when he suddenly stopped, pointed at me, and shouted, "I know that school! I'm from Worcester!" I then pointed at him and shouted, "Cool!" Then we bonded over being in a foreign country, why we were there, and the lack of Dunkin' Donuts and went our separate ways.

Back then, the closest Dunkin' required an international flight. When I went back to visit recently, I was delighted to find Dunkin' had expanded.

Not many people know this, but that was the natural MAgnetism that all Massachusetts residents gain as a passive buff. It's actually stronger if you're wearing town/city/college merch and the other person is from that city/town

i don't know what autistic person needs to hear this but they are not watching you. the entire world is not constantly waiting for you to do something weird and laugh at you behind your back. you do not need to constantly self-police whenever there's the slightest chance another person might see you. you have a right to be your autistic self in public spaces. stop fighting yourself for their sake.

Still really funny that Marvel named a movie “Endgame” and sold it as the final culmination of the MCU where they killed off two main characters and retired a third and then were shocked when people started loosing interest in the MCU after that

As someone who grew up with "I'm not going to praise you for doing what's expected of you; that's not being good, that's doing the bare minimum" I want to encourage you to celebrate every little thing you can.
