People really love making so many excuses as to why they refuse to use the correct pronouns of a canonical enby it seems

I don’t know if this expression is quiet rage or shock at the fact Ragatha apologised to him

TBH also ok. I really do not agree w ppl saying Ragatha is made uncomfortable by Jax bc he reminds her of her mother. I think she’s like that towards him bc he reminds her of herself, or at least how she wants to act. The scene where she snaps at him and tells him he “fucks everything up” sounds like something a parent would say to a disobedient child.
That’s why her niceness comes off as so fake, bc it is. She’s scared of her mother even as an adult, and is subconsciously imposing the toxic rules she grew up being forced to follow onto everyone else - Jax is the most disobedient of the cast, so it makes sense why she’s so bothered by him specifically, and why it seems like she spends the most time “trying to get through to him”. He’s the problem child, and seeing him freely act like an irresponsible ass makes her angry because she was never allowed to act out like that.
Note bc I think there are younger ppl in the fandom: not saying Ragatha is cruel or abusive, I actually think she’s trying very hard not to be, she doesn’t let herself feel/express negative emotions bc she’s terrified of being like her mother. The problem is she hasn’t actually unlearned anything, and hasn’t grasped that unhealthy parenting and abuse run deeper than raised voices.

bad end friends aesthetics → star butterfly
Vanity is a factor, but it is more a question of control. It is easier to trick others into perceiving you as beautiful if you can convince yourself you are beautiful. But mirrors have an uncanny way of telling the truth.
