                CANNOT HELP BUT GIVE A CHEEKY SMILE. zaynab was gentle, soft. kind, pure, good. the exact opposite of himself. doesn’t exactly remember how they had gotten into the conversation, but the topic of her first kiss came into play. up until NOW. doesn’t exactly think it’s a good idea, for her first kiss to be with someone tainted with thoughts of death and revenge. and yet he realizes, it’s HER decision anyhow. he cannot dictate her life choices.

                    this would make him the serpent, rather fitting considering the people involved. pale hand grasps hers lightly, gently. wants to give his best friend  (  only friend  !!  )  the greatest first kid any girl in suna could have. he leans in forward, black scelerae staring straight through her. it’s funny, he doesn’t recall his own first kiss being so sweet. free hand grasps the back of her neck, pulling her close so their foreheads bumped. ❛  how about I kiss YOU instead  ??  ❜  

                  their eyes meet and stay that way for a while, before he makes his move. moves forward, pierced lips touching her own set. intertwines their fingers together. their lips are soft, and when the kiss is done, his lips linger on hers. brushing against hers for a few seconds. moves back, laughs quietly to himself. his best friend was so gentle, soft. kind, pure, good. the exact opposite of himself and yet it was AMAZING how easily they came together. fire and water. yin and yang. darkness and light. she’s his saving grace. plants a small kiss on her forehead.

                 SEEKING KNOWLEDGE COMES IN THE FORM OF READING ANCIENT TEXT. a book almost as old as himself  (  almost  !!  ) , raised to eye level. the words recorded on the pages are from a dying language. though HE himself has been alive long enough to learn it before it had expired.

                   his partner is rather strange, vexing, prone to saying random things for the sole purpose of attempting to get under his skin. and for the most part, it works. constantly annoying him, making his skin ITCH with the urge to choke him until his head popped off. but there would be no point. for hidan was just as immortal as him. 

                  upon hearing hidans voice, the book is closed, index finger used to keep the book from shutting completely. but upon LISTENING to his partners question, he shuts it. a deep groan raises from his throat. there’s mild irritation, but it isn’t surprising. he’s grown rather used to hidans immaturity.  ❛  shut your mouth, or i’ll sew it shut. ❜

            HADN’T EXPECTED ANYONE TO BE AROUND. she kneels down on the forest floor beside the man she had incapacitated. laughs silently to herself as one hand is pressed on the mans chest, the other holds three senbon dripped with poison between thin fingers.  ❛  baka     attempting to run away was foolish on your end. at least your final resting place will be in nature.  ❜  with that, she slowly inserts the needles into the mans heart, a deep sigh escaping her lips.  she watches intently as the man writhes in pain underneath her, he spits up blood that lands upon her cheek. she laughs quietly.          what’s that  ??  movement  ??  she snaps her head up, and standing a few feet from her, she sees him. still with a sweet smile, she stares.  ❛  well then, this is rather        awkward. ❜
