Text
Im learning how to compose myself still,
Tears flow while I call on calm,
I constantly crave peace, as if I haven’t learned to summon it
I am a child again,
Emotion filled and helpless.
I’m screaming so softly,
Please hear me, but my words won’t work;
I want to hate you,
But you look up at me with pools of honey as eyes, and a smile so entrancing.
I finally accept, that loving is learning,
And I have to appreciate this lesson.
