My Art History training taught me to notice details like the ‘left step’ in Egyptian statues — that deliberate forward placement of the left foot. While its meaning remains debated, I’ve never forgotten our professor’s interpretation: a visual metaphor for the liminal space between life and death. This piece is my reflection on that concept.

News of the year: I'm in the remission! Anyway it's partial remission from my main diagnosis (schizophrenia) but i'm still happy. After changing meds in october i suddenly wanted to draw more. And so my artworks became better! I don't know why but this satisfies me too.
