This is #whitesupremacy - when white people can't tolerate losing rights we have repeatedly denied to various subgroups. Consider the Japanese-American internment (aka concentration) camps, restrictions on enslaved people's movement, contemporary concentration camps for people without legal permission to immigrate. This time, people are being asked to modify their behavior for actual legitimate reasons and enforcement ranges from lax to admittedly nonexistent. And white people STILL can't handle it.
