I open a word document. I proceed to write nothing for an hour. Three hours. Five hours. Nine hours. I have several story concepts planned from start to finish. I cannot get any of them on paper.
I come up with another story idea.

1. I will be born this Wednesday (indeed, tomorrow). Exciting!

I've been working on my Fakemon region for the past... ah, number of months, and after working out approximately a hundred or so concepts I’m more or less satisfied with (granted, most of them are still quite likely to be changed, merged together, or scrapped altogether along the way to the finish line), including - finally! - the starter trio, I feel confident enough to slowly start sharing them with people. Eventually. Perfectionism is a real pain, and so is art, sometimes 😂
#Hello Hello Hello#I was worried initially that my region would have too many Steel types but in the end it turned out there is more Ghost types after all#Not that the amount of Steel and Ghost types is a problem - the region has heavy Steampunk and Victorian Era influences#My real problem is obsessive overplanning because if it's not perfect it's not ready and at that rate I will never get anything done hah...#The only thing I do not have this issue with is poetry and I have a feeling that is because I allow myself to write poetry badly#maybe I should start doing everything badly until nothing is#>:)
