I love how humans have literally not changed throughout history like the graffiti from Pompeii has people from hundreds of years ago writing stuff like “Marcus is gay” “I fucked a girl here” “Julius your mum wishes she was with me” and leonardo da vinci’s assistants drew dicks in their notebooks just for the banter and mozart created a piece called “kiss my ass” so when people wish for ‘today’s generation’ to be like ‘how people used to’ then we’re already there buddy we’ve always been

“Silent Hills in Real Life” – This is part 2. If you want to watch Part 1, it’s [here.] The second one stands alone, though, and is the better in most ways I can think of.

In this video, the creators (Oddest of the Odd is their channel name) recreate P.T., the “Playable Teaser” for the aborted Konami Silent Hills. They also include elements from the non-playable teaser video and the first Death Stranding trailer from Hideo Kojima. Some aspects of the earlier games in the franchise leak through, too. All in what appears to be a home apartment, a school, a cornfield, a small forest … the transitions are pretty good, I am not entirely sure how many separate locations there really are.

-Snappy dresser

-Have furry legs (could not find image, but it is true, there's evidence)

I woke up from a sound sleep with this wisdom fully-formed in my head. I bet some sleuths could find even more parity.

i think all quiet on the western front and the lord of the rings are in direct conversation with each other, as in theyre the retelling of the same war with one saying here’s what happened, we all died, and it did not matter at all and another going hush little boy, of course we won, of course your friends came back

“Be curious about what you’re writing about” is not stock Common Writing Advice but it really, really should be. There are a lot of written works that fail due to the authors just being obviously incurious about what they are writing about.

This parade is one of the most thrown-together low-energy events I've ever seen. Our high school float parade had more enthusiasm.

The best part... Trump is bored out of his skull.

Though every once in a while he stands up and salutes.

It's really weird.
