Chapter 12- In Fear of their Lives!

Inspector Barrington, his assistant Charlie are in New York and along with Dick Hardy, are on the trail of Rope 'em Hard Reggie. They discover that Crime boss Big Al Caprice has links to the nefarious kidnapper, but as they investigate, the are captured by Caprice's men, and the tec trio find themselves bound and gagged and about to be fed to a rotating meat saw in a meat packing plant!

There are about 3 more existing stories to publish. The Blade of Doom, The League of Terror and The Evil of Fang Sin. Then the sequal to Mystery at St. Vincents titled The Captive in the Castle will be the brand new story which I am working on now. Sounds like your familiar with the old stories from the now defunct Yahoo Groups.

Chapter 11- Doomed by a Villain's Hand!

With Carstairs in the clutches of Rope 'em Hard Reggie, Inspector Barrington, Charlie and Dick Hardy are hot on train to bring the notorious kidnapper to justice.

But Reggie is working for New York Crime Boss Big Al Caprice, who fearful that the pursuit of Reggie will bring suspicion on his plans, has arranged our trio of detectives to be kidnapped!

Now in a warehouse on the Hudson River, our three heroes are gagged, bound to chairs and with heavy weights to their feet, are dropped through a trap door, to a watery grave in the river below!

Chapter 10- A Watery Grave!

Ned Carstairs has been Kidnapped by Rope 'em Hard Reggie, who plans to extract Carstairs's fortune.

But unknown to both, Inspector Barrington and Charlie have arrived in New York and teaming up with P.I. Dick Hardy, begin to trace Reggie through the criminal dealings of Big Al Caprice.

Caprice is made aware of the trio's investigations and captures them. Now Barrington, Hardy and Charlie are bound and gagged in a warehouse on the waterfront!

What peril awaits our heroes now?

Chapter 9- Danger at the Silver Flamingo!

Ned Carstairs has been kidnapped by Rope 'em Hard Reggie and his henchmen Bates and Grimshaw.

They have in a remote house filled with all manner of diabolical devices. Their intention. To prize Carstais's inheritence a piece at a time!

Meanwhile Inspector Barrington and his assistant Charlie have arrived in New York from London and meet up with New York PI Dick Hardy. Their mission to track down Reggie and bring him to justice, unaware that Carstairs's is his prisoner!

Chapter 8- Captive in Irons!

Ned Carstairs has been kidnapped whilst in the United States and is now being held captive by Rope 'em Hard Reggie and his henchmen Bates and Grimshaw.

Reggie's plan is to extract Carstairs's newly found fortune bit by bit, placing him in fiendish dooms so that if he doesn't sign a cheque, he will suffer accordingly.

Now Carstairs is secured to a chair, with a glass helmet over his head into which a deadly gas is slowly entering. He must sign a cheque of perish. Will Carstairs survive this?

Kidnapped by Rope 'em Hard Reggie, Ned Carstairs is now imprisoned in an old gothic mansion on the New England Coast.

Reggie plans to take Carstairs fortune, a piece at a time and to that end now has the hapless young Englishman secured under a descending array of red-hot spikes!

Ned has been secured in a hidden crypt, where a ghastly skeletal wraith plunges a knife towards him!

Deep in the cellars, Bates and Grimshaw are preparing to fit Ned with a diabolical device, known as the Excrutiator!

Having triumphed in the American Midwest and discovering a lost Aztec Temple and gold mine, Carstairs is now a weathy young man.

He plans to return to England but, in New York City he unwittingly falls into a cunning trap laid by arch kidnapper 'Rope 'em Hard' Reggie and his henchmen Bates and Grimshaw!

Now Carstairs is their helpless prisoner and Reggie has diabolical plans for him!
