Scott Lang, resident of Wayward Valley. Erm, former resident of, y'know, jail. But that's all behind me, right? Moved to this place to not get recognized, you know how the internet makes everybody know your name. Hopefully, people in this place don't.

( paul rudd . he/him . mcu . ) your name is SCOTT LANG. you’re 43, and you’ve been in wayward valley for as long as you care to remember. occasionally, you catch glimpses of another life, and it looks like SURROUNDINGS GROWING LARGER, THE TERRIFYING BEAUTY OF SCIENCE, and SHINING SUITS OF RED LEATHER — but it’s all in your head, surely. after all, your ENERGETIC, ENTHUSIASTIC, SARCASTIC, & SNEAKY disposition has found a life of sweet contentment here in town, as an ELECTRICIAN. so why does it feel like something’s missing? heyooooo! yes, i gave in and took scott lang. he is a character i have played before, and one of my favorites, in the mcu and otherwise. for those who don’t know, scott is a goofball and a thief (apparently my new thing is playing thieves?) with a daughter who he adores. you can check out an extended bio by clicking the about tab on my blog, but basically the only changes i’ve made to his storyline are that cassie is presently a teenager, and scott moved to wayward valley after getting out of prison.
here in wayward valley, he works at an electronics store, so you can always check there for threads. something you might know about him quickly is that he’s a bit goofy and very friendly. despite this, he also is great in an emotional or more intense thread and is very adaptable for plots. feel free to reach out for anything! if you’re interested in playing a character with a connection to canon, you can message me, and you can also look here.

The taco Scott was eating was practically spilling out of its shell, fillings falling into the napkin on his lap. He savored the spicy beef and creamy cheese, relaxing on a bench at the college. It was down the street from his work, and it was his favorite spot for lunch - lots of sun and the students made him think of Cassie. She was getting close to college age. They spoke on the phone every couple days, but he still didn’t have custody. Not until money was more steady, according to Maggie - and even then, partial custody when she was almost eighteen was a lot for Cassie. He didn’t want to push.
“Ah, shit.” He swore as the fillings spilled more into his lap. Picking up a hot sauce-drenched piece of lettuce, Scott gingerly tried to pick it and the rest of the fillings up from his lap and back into the shell, licking off his fingers and trying not to make too much of a mess - until he realized he’d caught the attention of a student. “You know what, not even gonna defend myself. Everyone knows tacos are messy, right?”

Sometimes, Scott was a little bitter that he had a master’s in electrical engineering and was going to fix minor wires in a small town now. It wasn’t like he didn’t respect those things, or was all that ambitious - it was just that he’d spent a hell of a time learning about electronics and tech only to be doing a less involved job. He sort of had wanted to do more than this.
Then again, he’d screwed himself over enough with the Vista Job that he supposed he was lucky anywhere would hire him.
A guard let him into the radio station and he wandered up with a bag of tools to one of the studios, where they were having issues with a computer and needed some hands-on-help. He was there in the morning, about half an hour before one of the shows started, hoping to fix up their soundboard. He knocked on the doorframe, looking around the studio. “Hey, it’s Scott, from Wayward Electronics? I spoke to some guy on the phone yesterday, something about audio issues?”

Wayward Valley was a small place, which is why Scott thought he might’ve known if someone he’d once dated was there - but, apparently, he was wrong. Jessica Jones was in line for coffee and he was shocked and surprised to see her, but elated. They hadn’t really been compatible, but she had been great and their breakup wasn’t bad.
When he saw her, he hugged her immediately, excitement brimming from the smile on his face even as he didn’t check to see if she’d even recognized him. “Jessica! Hey! Long time no see.”
