I do not know why it took myself so long to read the stories, but here I am and I am loving every minute. much love to all and I hope everyones holidays are filled with family, friends, and magic.

Harry Potter - The Boy Who Lived !! // this is my very FIRST read through of the Harry Potter series, and I am so inspired by its creativity, imagination, and wonder. I do not know why it took myself so long to get into the HP universe, being how much of a Tolkien fan I am. I am completely immersed in this world and can't wait to continue. I finished the first book, The Sorcerer's Stone, in three days upon purchase, and I am about a quarter through the second book, The Chamber of Secrets. Please to all my subscribers, no spoilers !! I have not seen any of the movies and do not really plan too, the magic of these books I think are best taken in with a reverence to the literature, at least for my first go through the series ! I have so many characters I love already. I will probably sketch characters throughout the time I am reading, I am itching to draw Hagrid.

I have been experimenting with water color lately and I really enjoy using the medium. When I was painting the hues I was trying to think of what the color of skin would be if it was constantly submerged in piss water. I keep telling myself I will illustrate a giant warhammer 40k inspired 'Rat War' piece with various colors of different rat factions fighting it out for supreme victory, perhaps that time is now. #ratwar

Red, the Paladin Caterpillar, brewer of ancient soup, friend to the goblin, as well as friend to the elf. - all of these ideas and characters are so great !!
