A little addition to it for Kon: if we are going with the SCP 7408 version, Simon knew about the incident but still couldn't do anything to stop it

It's 12 am here and I thought of angst! It's Simon/Paradox related so I thought you would like to hear about it!

First of all: what if Simon, Paradox, or both have a position where they are at most associated with Lady Death and get these visions of when people around them (like their patients for example) are at least expected to die. They cannot interfere, all they can do is wait for it to happen if it ever does)

This leads me to the angst: Simon has received visions when his 'main' patients are expected to die and has developed a small habit of writing in a secret journal that he updates the section of the patient he just had an appointment with.

He knew about Kons' habit of almost getting killed, about Icebergs' and Clefs' thoughts and attempts (to an extent, Kings' as well), about Geralds' accident proned near deaths, about Shaws' (Morores' for my rewrite) situation

He knew about it all but is in no position to step in and change it himself. All Simon can really do is smile, continue with his work in the Foundation, and wait for it to eventually happen, for Lady Death eventually taking them from this world.

Meri Wojciechowski - SCP 166

Meri currently works as cleanup/recovery for environments that have been damaged or otherwise polluted by Foundation intervention. While she's technically covering up their involvement, she takes the opportunity to study native flora and restore any area to its prime, growing back plants stronger than before and cleaning water to a livable standard for the native fauna. There are even protocols for moving manmade objects out of an area she's meant to cover.

Since it's getting closer to that time of year, I find that a lot of people still frequently confuse white tailed deer with reindeer/caribou. This is not me nitpicking about what's stated in the SCP article, and people can draw what they like! I just want to see reindeer more widely known as well, since they're beautifully unique in comparison.

Reindeer eyes change color throughout warmer and colder seasons from gold to blue to compensate for the differing light levels, their hooves have a wider spread to act as snowshoes, and they're extremely fluffy, being the only deer to have a completely furred snout structured so that they retain moisture even in cold, dry environments, so you're unable to see their breath in the cold like people. That's not even the end of the list of interesting things they can do.

I recommend the Cairngorm Reindeer Herd if you want references (and cute pictures) of reindeer! It would be genuinely amazing to see more actual reindeer Meri's exploring the neat features of these underrated creatures.

Bonus note: Reindeer calves (reindeer utilize the same male/female references as bovines, being bulls and cows respectively) do NOT possess the same spots as a juvenile white deer. Please observe: the adorable little Svalbard reindeer calf, the smallest reindeer species in the world.

Dr Glass headcannons part 3!

Yet again like half of these are stupid.

Former hand member.

He doesn’t actually need glasses he’s just holding onto them for personal reasons.

Used to abuse amnestics. Emphasis on used to because he avoids that shit like the plague now.

Older Gen Z. He’s like 26 lol.

Knows way too many people. He’s the guy who knows a guy.

Sites 17 and 19 are known as the outcast/problem sites. Being sent to either is how you know the foundation thinks of you as a reject, failure, and ultimately a problem. These sites are full of the researchers and staff who were rejected for various reasons(usually for being different or “difficult”). Becoming part of site command at either site is just the higher ups putting you in a place where they can control you better and make an example to the other “problems” that your “better” and that you “earned” your power. You didn’t though and now you’re stuck here in charge of the outcasts.

(Yes I’m implying that Glass is a problem researcher)

You know how the foundation motto is “We work in the dark so others can live in the light”. Simon’s is “If I have to live in the dark then I will be the light”. He’s this stories beacon  character that I add to every story of mine.

Site 17’s least favorite info/file digger.

Site 17 had a “competition” for favorite guy and a janitor named Dan won both first and second place. Glass got third because he also voted for Dan.

Once had a stuffed penguin named Gunter. He would give it to his patients as something to hold while talking with him. Only Iceberg lied Gunter so he ended up just keeping him.

Genuinely good person just miss guided as all hell.

Dr Glass headcannons part 2!

Again some of these are stupid

He is not loyal to the foundation or any anomalous organization but rather people. You can force his loyalty by keeping certain people from him.

The kind of angel I like to compare him to is Luciferian. One because snake imagery is always cool ,and two because he is a former member of the hand ,but three because I like snake bites(the piercings) and wanted to give him some. Also I like the idea that the foundation thinks they’re above everyone like god(s) is such a fun idea(I just a finished evangelion if you couldn’t tell).

He pirates amibos(I dunno he feels like the kind of guy who pirates amibos).

He knows who Hatsune Miku is and hates her with a passion. Not any other vocaloids, Just Miku. Miku is the only thing he doesn’t listen to.

Trans ftm

All of his close relationships are very confusing to navigate if you’re not in them. Shit gets complicated.

Glass and Iceberg are besties. I will not elaborate further.

Motherfucker has a younger brother. He is the only member of his family that he bothers to have regular contact with.

He is medical problems the man. No one knows how he’s alive.

Second Alice coded. I will not elaborate further.

His best stat is charisma. Not in the “I’m gonna fuck the dragon” way but in the “how the fuck do I keep gaining friends” way. He’s self aware and knows he’s charismatic but he just thinks he’s a pice of shit(real). We love irony in this house hold if you couldn’t tell.

I’m going to reiterate this again but I do believe that Dr Glass is genuinely kind. He’s a sly bastard some(most)times but his heart is in the right place. His heart is his biggest strength but it will also be his downfall. He loves in the way most people working for the foundation don’t get to experience.
