This had to be the absolute worst timing on earth. A muttered curse was uttered underneath Lillian’s breath as her fist angrily came in contact with the steering wheel. “No, no, no, not now!” But the sputtering noises of her car didn’t seem to lessen. The moment the vehicle came to a complete stop, she sat there for a few moments questioning if this was actually happening or not. This was just the icing on the shit cake that was her life. She banged her head against the wheel gently a few times before deciding to step out and access the damage -- not that would help considering cars weren’t exactly her forte. “Fucking piece of shit.” She kicked the now flat tire with the tip of her boot. Stuck in the middle of who knows where with a broken down car? This was giving her some major slasher movie vibes. It was just then she realized she wasn’t alone and turned to look at the person who happened to probably witness her mini breakdown. “What the hell are you staring at?”

Despite only recently arriving in town, Aleksis had put on her best dress and heels and decided to hit up the local bar. She figured it’d be a good way to see who was in the town, and maybe even if she could score a drink off of them. As she made her way over to the bar, she sat down on one of the stools and ordered a drink. And after receiving it, she took a sip. That was when she noticed someone looking at her. “It’s very good. You should try it.” She called out to them.

If Lillian was going to be stuck in this shithole town for a little while, she would need something to cope with and that something came in the form of alcohol. She was like an alcoholic bloodhound, able to locate a bar in any town no matter what. She was nursing her own drink when a girl sauntered up to the bar and ordered a drink. She was pretty. The kind of girl that knew it too. The moment she looked over at her, a smirk formed on her lips and she reached over to grab the girl’s drink. She took a bold sip from it without permission before sliding it back to her. “You’re right... it’s good.” She chuckled.

maris came from a single-parent household and her mother did everything she needed to in order to provide for her, no matter what she needed she got it 

her mother had always been maris’ idol growing up - she was independent, savvy, intelligent, and knew exactly how to bend things in a way they worked out in her favor 

it was no surprise that maris inherited those traits and constantly found herself trying to follow in her mother’s footsteps 

her mother was a shapeshifter and maris also inherited that ability, taking the form of a fox 

when maris was twelve years old, her mother decided to remarry and settled down with an extremely wealthy man who was the head of a major corporation and it wasn’t long until maris realized her mother was simply marrying him for his money and for some reason this made her lose respect for her

maris began to act out because of this and tried everything in an attempt get her mother’s attention and make her upset, from drinking, dabbling with drugs, and sleeping around but it seemed the harder she tried the more their relationship became strained 

she decided to leave home once she graduated high school and moved to hollowcrest

she has a rather large distaste for humans and thinks they’re beneath her so in a way hollowcrest was the perfect place for her seeing as it was a safe haven of sorts 

she enrolled in school when she moved into town and found herself becoming a member of a sorority 

she is extremely manipulative and isn’t afraid to do what it takes to get to the top in any situation, no matter what the stakes may be 

she is in need of constant praise and validation because she has a ton of insecurities that she doesn’t want to admit or deal with 

she has a ton of maladaptive coping mechanisms

she loves to have one night stands and smoke in order to help her forget about things 

she is proud of her identity as a shifter but also feels threatened by werewolves and tends to stray from them

wanted connections:

a love interest that actually brings out the softer and mushy side of maris 

a fwb who maris loves to play with and purposefully pulls stunts in order to make them jealous 

a frenemy - perhaps a fellow shifter or werewolf that she secretly feels intimidated by and therefore acts as if she hates them but that hatred turns to friendship over time

hey there everyone, i’m langston (or you can call me lip) and here is my first trash child that i’m bringing into the group.

lillian was born and raised in las vegas, nevada 

her mother was an entertainer and her father was pretty much a deadbeat individual with no job and a heavy drinking problem as well as a gambling addiction 

she grew up having a fascination with all the glitz and glam that vegas had to offer and was too naive as a child to realize that it was all a facade for the most part 

she developed a boatload of resentment for her father after watching him abuse her mother night after night and made a silent promise to herself that one day she would get her mother far away from her dad

she was a troublemaker all through high school and could be commonly found in detention for either talking back to her teachers or pulling ridiculous pranks 

the only thing that really motivated her most of the time was her mother who constantly told her that she could do anything

lillian stopped believing she could do anything she put her mind one day when her mother vanished without a trace, nothing but a note left behind on the kitchen counter

she immediately became suspicious of the fact her mother ‘left’ - her mother often promising her that she would never let anything bad happen to her 

her suspicions were heightened afterward when her dad began to act a bit strangely and avoided her instead of taking out his aggressions on her 

the moment she graduated high school, lillian made the decision to move out to los angeles where she worked as a waitress for a while 

though what she really wanted to do was become a comedian and make it big in the entertainment industry 

hearing about some hosted auditions for an upcoming television pilot, she took a chance and attended 

she ended up getting a callback and it wasn’t long before she was the face of the show: haunt hunters

she is a ghost hunter on an extremely fake show in which they pretended to find crucial proof that ghosts existed

fame went to her head a bit and she began to carry her over the top television persona to her real life

she really doesn’t believe in ghosts and is convinced that she never will 

she has had many failed relationships due to the fact she can’t ever open up and be vulnerable with anyone, whenever she tries she just ends up joking around to deflect the situation 

she identifies as bisexual with a slight preference for females 

how she got to hollowcrest: she is extremely new to hollowcrest and very clueless - her car broke down while she was on her way to a new location and found herself intrigued by the town and is probably going to flip her shit now that she has proof that supernatural individuals exist and probably deny everything even though shit is happening right before her eyes

wanted connections: 

a partner in crime that encourages her dumb shenanigans 

a possible ex-girlfriend who she was almost engaged to and she ran away from commitment like the coward she is 

a love interest (preferably supernatural) that she finds herself really preoccupied and interested in but constantly pretends she isn’t 

her mother (who is now a ghost) - she could appear to be the same age as lillian considering she died when lillian was sixteen
