The Divergent Series When I read the first book of the Divergent-series, I got a feeling I’ve never felt before nor after the book. It was a unique feeling of joy and fascination. I miss that feeling, and I can’t thank Veronica Roth enough for bringing this masterpiece to the world. The series is originally a trilogy: Divergent, Insurgent and Allegiant. But in 2014, Roth published an additional book named Four, which contains the story of the character “Four”. The plot is about a 16 year old girl named Beatrice Prior. She lives in a society where everyone are separated into different factions: Dauntless, Abnegation, Erudite, Amity and Candor. She belongs to the faction Abnegation, but has to make a choice that will change her life. This series is definitely a Sci-fi with a touch of romance. Okay, maybe a bit more than a touch. If you don’t like feelings or romance, you should probably not read these books. But it is so much more. The combination of Beatrice’s feelings and a much bigger plot makes this series so fantastic. I know, most likely you have already heard of, or maybe read, this series, but I felt that I had to put it here anyways just in case you haven’t. If so, you must give it a try. It is definitely worth it.

The Gone Series This is one of the best series I’ve ever read. Period. I don’t know what else to say. They are just so well written and thrilling that it is almost impossible to put them away. A lot of you may have heard of it before, since the first book was published already in 2008, but I just felt like I had to put it here anyways. It is a well-known sci-fi series containing 6 books in the following order: Gone, Hunger, Lies, Plague, Fear and Light. The books are pretty dark, with thrills, chills and terror almost everywhere. Sometimes it can simply be gross and scary. Still, I fell in love with them from the first chapters. If you don’t like scary or gross chills, this may not be the books for you. The plot is set in the fictional american city “Perdido Beach”, where everyone over 15 years old suddenly disappears. People and animals mutate, and some of them get extraordinary abilities and super-powers. The teens has to fight for their lives, and it becomes harder and harder to survive in the dystopian society. I think I have made it clear what I think of these books, but if you like Sci-fi, chills and dystopian societies, this is absolutely a series for you!
