BEIJING (Scrap Monster):聽The Chinese aluminum scrap prices surged higher on聽ScrapMonster Price Index聽聽as on October 18th,Wednesday. Brass, Bronze, and Copper Scrap prices too were up from the previous day. Stainless Steel scrap prices surged on Index. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 800 per MT.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 800 per MT each.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 800 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 400 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too surged higher by CNY 200 per MT when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer scrap and Cu Yokes prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT on Index.
Cu/Al Radiator and Heater Cores prices inched higher by CNY 200 per MT and CNY 300 per MT respectively.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were up by CNY 100 per MT on Wednesday, October 18th.

Copper and Aluminum scrap prices too remained unchanged over the previous day. 聽Stainless Steel scrap prices held flat on Index.

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing witnessed no price change over the previous day.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also remained flat.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices remained flat. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery held steady over the previous day.

Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed no change on Index. Brass, Bronze and Copper scrap prices surged, whereas Aluminum scrap prices remained flat. Meantime, Steel scrap prices declined on Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing increased by $0.05 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.05 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright went higher by $ 0.05 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery inched higher by $0.01 over the day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were up by $0.01 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices surged higher by $0.05 per Lb from previous day鈥檚 level.

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index 聽as on June 5th, Monday. 聽Brass/Bronze, Aluminum and Stainless Steel scrap prices dropped on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 400 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined by CNY 400 per MT each.

19th May, 2023: North American Scrap Metal Prices Surged on Index
TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap metal prices remained mostly unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index 聽as on May 19th, Friday. Copper and Stainless Steel scrap prices surged, whereas Aluminum scrap prices remained flat. Meantime, Brass/Bronze and Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing increased by $0.03 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.03 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright went higher by $ 0.03 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery held steady over the day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were flat on Index. #3 Copper-Light copper prices surged higher by $0.03 per Lb from previous day鈥檚 level.
The prices of Copper Radiator scrap were flat from previous day鈥檚 levels. Copper Transformer Scrap prices remained unchanged. CuYokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices too reported no change from the previous day.
