Robron Week 2025 - Day 1 - Return

I didn’t know what to do so I did a return wardrobe clothes swap. Aaron gets to wear everyone’s favorite shirt.

honestly instead of robert getting into farming and people harping on about how his dad being proud of him, what it we had an arc where it's sarah who carries on the farming legacy. maybe she has to accept that she can't have a baby & she's grieving over it but then she's the one who takes over the farm land as a distraction. gradually realises that she can still grow and care for something that's all her own and leave her mark on the world, even if it's not a baby.

and then robert gets to be the one who tells her that her dad and grandad would have been proud of her, and that's also sort of his way of properly accepting andy and sarah as family. the sugdens still take back their land, but it's via andy's side

Eh I'm just hoping it's not the land thing (even though it probably is) bc that would be really boring. I mean John's big Robert scandal is that he almost sold some land to Kim Tate and then didn't(?) Is that really the best he can do? Who actually gives af, though I'm sure people will for plot reasons

I mean I guess it depends on what he does with that information. The Plot likes allowing him to manipulate people so...he could use it well if he spins the right tale.

I don't know. I don't know what else it would be but I agree with you, there's not much there either.

Honestly, I'm so confused about the land thing in general. The pacing for this story has been so disjointed. I mean we didn't even know he was still working at Butler's until today. He seemingly hasn't actually bought the land yet, but maybe he has? But he definitely hasn't actually sold it to Kim and it seems like he's not going to. So if he can not sell to Kim, does that mean he's bought the land or that he might just back out of everything all together?

Hopefully the next two weeks will clear all of this up because I'm so lost. haha

I’m less hopeful about everyone else finding out what John did to them directly or how his actions indirectly affected them. Then again, his hero complex is bound to be exposed and talked about since that’s what the motive is behind Nate’s death. I hope the villagers collectively have an *AHA!* moment and question the times John helped them. They’ve already discussed it in the past, just without any suspicion.

I feel like since they have discussed it in the past and they're about to have Eric point out all of John's heroic deeds around the village next week, that probably most of his misdeeds will be exposed eventually. I know he killed Nate, but I think he needs all of the other villainous stuff to come out too just so he's a more substantial villain in everyone's eyes. The point is that they trusted him, the praised him as a hero and he was a lie this whole time. I think all that has to be exposed.

People are theorizing that John will eventually hear something he won’t want to hear from the phone bug, Aaron and Robert having an angsty conversation. In which case, I’m already laughing because he is once again doing something that will eventually bite him in the ass.

I mean I suppose that could be vaguely plausible in the future but that's clearly not the "dirt" he's gathering right now. And I don't know if I expect this listening device plot point to continue on into a time when Robron might be interacting. I mean I guess it's possible but...we'll see.
