A list of Robins I would like to see with Robert Pattinson’s Batman:
• Jason Todd—Batman without the social anxiety, would need to be put on a leash. Would love to see the killing joke.
• Stephanie Brown—same teenage angst as Jason but without the desperation to appease Batman. I love her energy and I think if she was given the opportunity to be with a darker Batman she would really shine. Also would be interesting as an older/adult robin.
• Tim Drake—It would be really refreshing to see a robin that was actually able to help Batman, and since Battinson is very detective-y it would be sick to see a Robin actively working on a case with Bruce.
•Carrie Kelley—her backstory has the most potential to be interestingly worked into the story and provide the most interesting commentary. Also I desperately want to see her use her firecrackers in battle, seems like the kind of DIY theatrical moment Battinson would pull.
Robins I would NOT like to see:
• Dick Grayson—a comics accurate Dick would stick out like a sore thumb in this world so he’d be more similar to other Robins than himself. Also overplayed.
• Damian Wayne—this Batman has never fucked.

The 1980s were rough on Godzilla.  Out-of-work and depressed, the former movie star tried to recapture his glory days by partying all night fueled by literal mountains of cocaine.
When Godzilla got the call that he had been cast in 1984′s The Return of Godzilla, he was ecstatic.  He tackled the role with vigor.  However, he wasn’t as young as he used to be, and he needed the cocaine rush to give him the energy to make those early morning on-set calls.
But inevitably the rush wore off, and Godzilla would collapse and become semi-comatose in the middle of a scene, causing costly delays to the production.
Producer Tomoyuki Tanaka angrily confronted Godzilla several times about his unprofessional behavior.  Reportedly Tanaka-san stormed off the set one day yelling “I shoulda hired Minilla!”
Toho did its best to keep a lid on the situation, before the press got wind of what was going on.  The studio hired a small army of assistants and security to shepherd Godzilla from home to the studio, and back again.  They were also specifically tasked to keep Godzilla away from any press at all.  This extended to the film’s premiere, when Toho had the Godzilla Cybot stand in for the star.
Upset at the mess he had made of his life, and the trouble he had caused his co-stars and the studio, Godzilla took the important first step and asked for help.  The powers that be at Toho, persuaded by Tanaka-san (who could never stay mad at his star), quietly arranged for Godzilla to enter a long-term rehab facility.
The rehabilitation program worked, and Godzilla emerged a few years later feeling like a new kaiju (some wags suggested that he’d had cosmetic surgery done and was, in fact, a different kaiju).  He began work again with Toho on his next film, Godzilla vs. Biollante, and thus began the true start to the second phase of his career.

Why the Human element is important for Godzilla
I see a lot of people when reviewing a Godzilla film complain about the Human elements and plot. They wish there was more monster vs monster action, or just Godzilla destroying things in general.
However, this would make the film very bland and boring. The Human element is needed in Godzilla movies. Even in the first Godzilla film, which everybody praises as the best film in the franchise, the Human plot was the core of the film. (Re)Watch it when you can and tell me how much of an impact it would have if the Human plot wasn’t there, and it was just Godzilla rising out of the depths and attacking a city.
Godzilla is the star of the movie, not the main character. The plot revolves around him, but it’s not about him. We need the Human element for two reasons;
1. To emphasize with the people in the movie. 2. To balance out the film’s action.
To make a Godzilla film without any Human element or plot would take away all meaning of Godzilla. The whole reason his landfall is important is because of how it affects the people. We see people dying during his attack, and it’s meant to hit home. WE’RE the people in the movie.
Now, obviously some Godzilla movies have a LOT more Human screentime than Godzilla screentime. Why? Because these are geared more towards making a statement, message, or moral.
The bottom line though is Godzilla NEEDS people in his films. We need that Human element, not only to be a break from the monster action, but to put US in the film, and to tell the story and message.

Now this is something we all can get behind! Like can’t we just replace all confederate statues with cryptids from their respective areas?

On the subject of humans in kaiju movies, I think fans tend to undervalue this side so much it almost feels rude in cases, as if the writers, directors, and actors' efforts don't matter when a lot of films do hinge on it. I think making a movie just for the sake of mirroring action figure fights and nothing else is kind of a waste of money and potential. Critics and fans alike tend to be skewed in their presumptions and I feel more analytic consideration from both is necessary.
