I’m lucky that I’m not in the hospital or retail setting like many of my colleagues and healthcare teammates- they’re the real heroes fighting COVID-19 on the frontlines every day- as well as many other non-healthcare people who are working their asses off right now to keep the world from collapsing. I’m still working in outpatient clinics for now to keep the most vulnerable, immunocompromised patients on their regular treatment schedules. I’m very grateful to still have my job and the normalcy of going to work every day during this chaotic, surreal time. It’s very grounding, and I know how lucky I am to be in this position compared to so many other people who have had their lives turned upside down. Thank you all for staying home and doing your part. We’re all in this together. 👩‍⚕️😷💊💉🧬🧼
