Bass Tournament - Bass Masters Vs American Bass
For some big time bassheads, American Bass has become almost a religion. Those of us who have been around for any length of time know how intense and genuine that bass can be, but for newcomers to the bass world, it can be a real surprise. For many bass players, American Bass is like a religion because it's so simple and easy to play. But for the rest of us out here in Australia, it's just another day in the office and we're trying to make a living! So how on earth do you go about getting the best bass to make your mate sit up and take notice? The answer, surprisingly, is simple; with a quality bass guitar, a quality amp and some accurate bass tuning, your bass will sing while you're trying not to lose yourself in the middle of a lake full of swans. There are many good bass guitarists in Australia, but Bob Schill is the King. So, what do you need to get Bob Schill to your first Bass Tournament? If you've never seen Bob Schill before, I highly recommend that you do. He is the bass equivalent of Van Halen or Steve Vai. His bass playing skills are like nothing else on the planet and he sings with passion. His ability to play the bass well outshines most of his counterparts and he's won back-to-back Australian Bass tournaments with the same model, the Pro Series Bifold Bass Amplifier. Bob Schill also has a number of titles under his belt including the Australian Masters Bass Player of the Year and the Championship Bass Player of the Year. Bob's main partner in winning the tournaments is his bass boat package. The Bob Schill Bass Boat package has won every Australian Bass Tournament since its inception in 1996. The bass boats are built by the famous bass boat maker Tracker Bodies and they come with all of Bob's equipment plus extras. Bob's bass boats are known for their durability and are known to hold up even to the most extreme conditions. This is why the majority of bass anglers consider Bob's bass boats the best bass boats on the market today. The second tournament victory for Bob Schill came at the Glamping World Championship in Australia. The Bob's Special Reserve Creek caught and killed the record for the largest fish caught in a single day by a single person. This was also a record for the Bass Masters as well. After this big win, Bob and his special boat were featured on the "Survivor" reality show where the anglers had to work their way through the woods to get to the beach. This made it even more fun for all of us to watch, knowing that this angler's story was going to be told by the fans that camped out on the reserve. Bob's Bass boats are known not only by the trophy awarded to them on the "Survivor" shows, but also because of the support and friendships they have made along the way. Most of the time when I'm not on a boat, I can be found hanging out at a local fishing hole catching some trout. Many of my friends who live out here in Arkansas are huge Bob's Bass fanatics. american bass Whenever they hear about his big wins, and how friendly and helpful he is with his team, they appreciate what a special guy he is. As October approached, the "Bass Masters" tournament was starting to get closer. However, there was one catch that weekend that made October American Bass Anglers' week even better! I saw a tweet on my twitter page by Steve Riehl, who stated that there would be a tournament at the Big Hole. I went to the place that weekend to try and catch some bass, and boy was I glad that I brought my A rated Bass rod.

This little tournament got underway on Tuesday afternoon, and just about every angler in the park was either fighting for the championship, or trying to catch Mr. Riehl's son, Chase. This was a huge surprise, because I had never heard of Chase before. He was actually standing right next to Steve, and you could tell that he was very focused. In the end, it was very interesting to see how many different types of fish we could catch in an hour's time. Definitely a great experience for all American bass anglers, and hope that we get to return soon for another tournament!
