that tiktok trend of guys stopping their girlfriends from opening the passenger car door. so he can open it for her. except it's just annabeth insisting percy stay in the driver's seat so she can walk around and open his door.

my favourite thing about sally jackson is how she's stayed such a romantic her whole life despite what she's gone through and nobody talks about it. she sacrificed her years of school so that she could take care of her dying uncle. she was deserted by poseidon after having his kid. she sacrificed the next few decade or so of her life taking care of percy and was repeatedly abused and put down by gabe, all while struggling to become educated, even though gabe disapproved of it. majority of her life was wasted away for the sake of other men. but she put in the work, went to college and became an author who writes romance books. she supports and roots for percy and annabeth's love and is not strict on them at all. she started a new family. she reclaimed the part of her that was a dreamer and was young to pursue her dreams, even at an age where moms are usually expected to retire.

Random nitpick with the Hazbin S1 finale: Alastor's fake out death is a more dramatic and impactful scene than Sir Pentious's actual death.
Sir Pentious dies during a joke moment from Adam and while the others' reactions are sad, they hardly linger on that scene as it quickly moves on to more of the battle and in the moment, the death is narratively just used as a way to enrage Charlie. Plus the death itself is so sudden. It's like a blink and suddenly Sir Pentious is gone. No last words, no body, no elongated moment of lingering, nothing. Nearly everything surrounding this supposed to be dramatic death is played as a joke and it really hurts the tone, even if it did turn out that this death was just something to get Sir Pentious into Heaven for the sake of the plot and he's not truly gone. His sacrifice still deserved more time to breathe in the episode in my opinion, especially compared to what Alastor got.
While Vox and Adam also mock Alastor during his near death, those moments aren't really played like they're meant to be funny. Also unlike Sir Pentious, we do see Alastor's last moments. We see this previously assumed to be all powerful untouchable character struggling and bleeding and truly terrified for once and not gonna lie, it was genuinely pretty shocking to me. Alastor also notably does get last words before fleeing and they go hard.
I'm glad Alastor didn't die in that episode as there's still so many mysteries surrounding him and killing him without answering at least some of those questions would be frustrating but his fake out death having more impact than Sir Pentious's actual death definitely bothers me.
Tldr: Sir Pentious deserved better.

And they never made Alastor join the bonding & trust activities again
I don't know what to tell you. YouTube recommended to me the scene with the trust falls and even just seeing the thumbnail, this just immediately popped into my head.
He would mess with them so hard if they ever made him participate. Anything to never be invited again.

Guys fucked up idea
What if Sir Pentious went to hell not for war crimes or machinery killing people but instead, he had a paranoid episode that lead to him killing his family.
Like war made him super paranoid and depressed and he just snapped in a moment of overwhelming fear and delusions.
I mean really, I have PTSD and I have multiple triggers like belts and screaming or really loud noises when I'm sleeping. So I totes get it.
