as she saw him tense, rey couldnât help but do the same, a bit worried of what his reaction would beâ knowing how many people could potentially be after han at one time. she approached slower, watching him work on the falcon.Â
âme iâmââ she didnât know how to explain that she was from his future. âiâm rey. a friend,â she stated simply with a small smile, pausing, âi could help you with that.âÂ
She didnât seem dangerous to him but heâd been burned before, but she knew his name so there was a 50/50 chance. He put the spanner up and and looked back down to her standing down there.  âFriend Rey, hmm, nice to meet you.â Han looked back into the Falcon and shrugged.  âI donât know, sheâs pretty touchy, Iâve made a lot of special modifications.â

â let me guess, your commlink was down,â she jabbed gracelessly, staring up at the smuggler with hard eyes despite the way her lips twitched ever so slightly at the corners. she wouldnât give him the satisfaction of thinking he earned a smile by dragging himself back in one piece, not when sheâd heard from some stray pilot that solo had arrived days ago. she shouldâve expected this of him. itâs not like he had ever managed well with pressure or expectations before. it was only natural that he volunteer for some bantha fodder mission to get away from her when things had finally began to look optomistic. as always, he would do what he wished to do exactly when he wished to do so. a most unbecoming quality.
but han was⌠han. he often did things with a careless machismo that made her wish to throttle him, but she loathed watching him go. for an hour, for a day, she never cared for it. an unbecoming quality of her own. even when she wanted him out of sight, it still was bitter to see his retreating form. he hadnât even said goodbye. heâd been compelled by her during wartime, now that the princess had obligations to the republic to rebuild, perhaps heâd lost all intrigue and she had just been too preoccupied to notice. â no noâ wait, iâve got it, you were in some terrible accident and thatâs why you disappeared with no communication whatsoever. â
Eyes went wide as the short ball of energy stood in front of him and he was stunned for just a moment and then he smiled and grinned.  âWelll, I mean tech is always going on the fritz so.... yes?â he answered. He knew a lot of people and had traveled to many places, good and bad so you never knew who youâd run into and where. Kaz said it was only sometimes a good quality of his.
She was pretty he couldnât argue that. Han smile, cocky and self-assured as always, and raised an eyebrow as he looked down at her until she sounded like the wife of one of his associates.  âSorry sweetheart I think youâre mistaken. No accident except ended up here, but donât recall making any promises of communication to anyone. But if you want me to do that, for you, I could be persuaded.â

Time is such a passing thing. An part of life that Kylo had come to learn he was never going to understand. Time had changed everything. It had passed through everyone. It carried them toward the lifeforce that drew them to the one thing no one could ever escape, death. Time had healed wounds but it would also rip them open. Time had been what had showed Kylo who he could truly become. Who he was meant to be. The Supreme Leader of the Order. The Ruler of the Galaxies. A Sith Lord who had killed his own past. Who had tried to build what his Grandfather could never. A breath, leather gloved fingertips glided easily over the hilt of his lightsaber that sat upon his left hip. The Force pulsated and pulled him and like a loyal soldier, he followed itâs lull blindly. Not expecting what he was about to turn the corner to face. His father stood before him. A man of youth. Handsome in every aspect of the word and itâs no mystery where Kylo had gotten such looks from. A breath that sticks in his lungs. Words failing like venom evaporating on his tongue. The Force surely had led him to a dream. A dream that was not that, but a nightmare. A possibly premonition that Kylo had never wanted to see again. He had killed his past, both literally and figuratively. âFather.â He breaths through his mask. The voice distorted from the change. He draws a deep breath, letting it get caught in his throat. Losing the ability to breath again. âI killed you, so you must be nothing more than a vision. The Force wants me to see.â

Han was glad the work on the Falcon were almost done; he was pretty sure no one was after him now but he still didnât really like staying in one place too long. Ever had. It was safer that way. The only time he really had was when he was a grunt and god knew that how that had turned out. So he explored the city, âtriedâ to stay out of trouble, and figure things out as to where, when and how he was here. He stopped short when he rounded a corner of the of the busy streets to come face to face with a figure in a dark mask and black clothes. Reminded it immediately of Vader and he didnât want anywhere near that. He was going to keep going when he heard the manâs voice and speaking to him and he chuckled shortly at what he said.  âI donât think so. Pretty sure Iâm not dead yet; came close but got a lot of living left. Think you have me mistaken for someone else.â

Luke: This is a disaster!
Leia: What?
Luke: The printer messed up! It was supposed to say âHanâs Birthdayâ
Leia: What does it say now?
Luke: âHanâs Biâ
Leia: Hey, could still work!

â politicians tend to view their soldiers like pet battle dogs. â
I canât exactly argue you with you there kid. They do all the talking and ass kissing and let the battle dogs like us doing all the dirty work of fighting. Always sneaking around, I prefer a straight up fight.

@scruffynotnerdyâ  //  han solo.
it was hard to feel as though iden had any place here after spending her entire life dedicated to hunting down the rebellion. her defection had been genuine, all of the information that she and del had given had been legitimate and undoubtedly saved naboo from the same fate that vardos was going to. maybe it was the fact that luke made her uneasy when everyone else seemed so happy around him. maybe it was the fact when she finally saw the millennium falcon, all she could think about was orders to shoot it down. she admired it for a moment. âyou must be han solo.â
Han sighed as he countered and walked back around the side of the landing gear of the Falcon. No one came for a social call or was just there to say hey nice ship just wanted to say. No it was almost always confirming that yes he was Han Solo, and what did they want and hopefully not get into a fight. âMust I? Do I know you?â

ezra was surprised by the reaction of the other manâ it wasnât⌠a bad surprise but. a surprise nonetheless.Â
and he couldnât lie, the thought of some socialization seemed nice. he shrugged some, âwhy not,â he mumbled, stepping over, sitting across from the man. with a small smile, ezra raised his eyebrows a tad, a small smile, âthis seems a lot more like your scene then mineâ no judgement,â he leaned back some, âanyways. any people worth watching?âÂ
Han was a cautious man; he hadnât survived this long being naive or gullible but sometimes being friendly-ish had its purpose as well. Â And the other looked like he could use a load off. Â He kept his back to the wall, always looking for ways to get away if the need arose.
He gave a crooked smile back at him and reached for his drink. Â âIs that so, what would be more like your scene then?â Â He put the cup down again and nodded nonchalantly. Â âCouple of bounty hunters by the bar, few more who Iâm guessing are traders or smugglers.â

rey wasnât at all surprised to find the falcon in this time. while naboo was an⌠odd place for something that differed so heavily, it seemed to always find a way back into importance.Â
that being, said, seeing itâs pilot lit up reyâs eyes more than she could have expected.
watching han solo die replayed in reyâs memories constantly. something she wished she could forget but⌠the guilt attached to that. after all he had done for her? he had been one of the first people to care about her. he had.. come to save her. and she let him die.Â
but that was forgotten, now, seeing a younger version of the man she so greatly admired. her feet quickly carrying her to the man, she stopped , his back faced away, biting her lip nervous.Â
he wouldnât remember herâ she knew that.Â
âhan? han solo?âÂ
The more time he spent on Naboo, the more Han was realising the Falcon was out of place there. It was a Corellian smuggling ship, something he was proud of but it also was distinct and heâd already had more than one person question him about it. He was glad he had put in extra security measures a while back.
He was tinkering with the shield injector because there was always tinkering to be done for and with the Falcon, always. Han paused and stiffened when he heard someone approach behind him. A quick glance showed a young girl, non threatening at first sight but he knew better. He was surprised that she knew his name and turned around. âWhoâs asking?â he asked looking at the young girl.

getting used to being thrown back to a time heâd already lived was⌠weird. i meanâ in scheme of things? it sounded about right, honestly.Â
ezra just wanted to stay in the normal galaxy for awhile⌠during a normal time⌠was that too much to ask? though, there was something he missed about thisâ people still celebrating the win of endor, the fall of the empire.Â
if only they knew how that lasted.
ezra was bad at being casualâ he always had been. so he wasnât surprised to get a few looks in the small cantina. though, someone caught his eye. furrowing his eyebrows, he looked at the man, âwas there something you wanted?âÂ
He was used to the strange and weird but getting thrown through time and space, Han was still getting used to that. Chewie wasnât around and he missed him, wondered what heâd be thinking now. He had the Falcon but wires and metal were only so much. But Han was a survivor if nothing else, heâd make this work.
His first order of business was to find a place to sit and get drink. A good catina was always around, or rather âaâ cantina. He found a nice table off in back to the corner and kept the Corellian ale coming as he watched the others, observed and took stock. Han sat up when someone was clearly staring back at him and he raised his glass and smiled.  âThereâs always something someone wants but at the moment I was just people watching.â He motioned to the seat across from him.  âYou want to join me?â

OLIVER JACKSON-COHEN // have you met HAN SOLO yet? HE/HIM is a 34 year old CIS MALE HUMAN. theyâre originally from CORELLIA and now show loyalty to UNAFFILIATED. they are best known for being a PILOT/SMUGGLER, and i hear theyâre pretty NEGOTIATOR yet also STUBBORN at times; i hope they survive the galactic civil war. (JEKA, +30, PST, SHE/HER)
THE PAST
Han Solo was a male Human smuggler from the planet Corellia who achieved galactic fame as a member of the Rebel Alliance and later the New Republic. Born on Corellia, he was orphaned at an early age and taken by the pirate Garris Shrike to serve on his crew. He was treated cruelly, and served Shrike for many years before escaping while in his teens. Solo became a smuggler, and fell in love with Bria Tharen, though she left him due to her duties to the Rebel Alliance. Solo then entered the Imperial Academy at Carida, serving with distinction. He was kicked out, however, when he stopped an Imperial officer from beating a Wookiee named Chewbacca with a neuronic whip for resisting capture. In gratitude, the Wookiee swore a life debt to Solo, protecting him with his life and a bond of friendship formed between the two that was unbreakable. Solo became a smuggler once again, with Chewbacca at his side. Piloting the upgraded and customized the Millennium Falcon, which he won in a game of Sabacc against Lando Calrissian, his future ally, he became known as one of the best smugglers in the galaxy. Eventually, the pair came into the employment of the Outer Rim crime lord Jabba the Hutt, who was based on the desert planet Tatooine and was the leader of the powerful Hutt Clan. Solo and Chewbacca smuggled for Jabba for many years, and Solo became Jabba's top smuggler. The smuggling duo also spent much time in Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina looking for work.
THE PRESENT
Han finds himself on Naboo just as he was being chased by Imperial forces, the Falon full of goods he was smuggling for Jabba the Hut, that he had to dump when it was clear they were going to be boarded. Finding himself suddenly on Naboo and definitely not in the right time, he doing what he always does - looks to survive, get by and look out for himself.
PERSONALITY
Han fancied himself a scoundrel. But he wasn't. He loved freedomâfor himself, certainly, but for everybody else in the galaxy, too. And time after time, he was willing to fight for that freedom. He didn't want to know the odds in that fightâbecause heâd already made up his mind that he'd prevail. And time after time, somehow, he did.
Han Solo was initially a cynical, disagreeable individual whose primary concern was gaining enough money to preserve his own life. Aside from his seemingly self-centered ways, Han was actually very loyal to his friends, and a good man, showing himself to be brave and caring. Having endured a difficult childhood as an impoverished orphan with no identity, he often felt strongly to the disenfranchised or those being oppressed.
He is someone who has no patience for speeches or memorials, and was allergic to politics and suspicious of causes. However, he also hated bullies and could never stand down when confronted with them, and when he took on a difficult mission, he was never interested in knowing the odds of success. He is resourceful, cunning, and an effective commander.
