Author's note: I love Caedo! I hope they do more with him and bring him into the broader canon. Relationships: Malum Caedo/Fem!Reader Warnings: None

- Malum is 100% in everything. Nothing he does his half assed. He doesn't experience much hesitation when it comes to the things he'd like to do for, and with you (for good and bad).

- Unlike many of the Ultramarines that would be quite subtle when it comes to their romantic inclinations towards you, Caedo is quite overt in comparison.

- He will often pick you up (especially if you're being harassed, heckled or inconvenienced in some way, his arms are often a safety net), and if not picking you up, he often has a large gauntlet on your shoulder, keeping you within his personal space. It is more than obviously to most that Caedo has a personal preference for you, but at least most of dumb to it's full nature thanks to him being an astartes.

- Loves to recount past battles and fights, Caedo will yap for hours if allowed, and even longer if you encourage him. Usually you do when you're wanting to go to bed; His voice is soothing when he isn't yelling, and his steady cadence when storytelling is very nice when going to sleep. No matter if you have troubles with it or not. Caedo enjoys telling you them too; It's one of his main sources of pride.

- Very much enjoys the difference between your smaller, frailer form in comparison to him. Astartes are made to protect after all, and there's nothing more in need of protecting in his mind than a baseline woman on a ship with filled with giants. No matter your actual level of independence, be it guardsmen or clerical worker, he'll still be around.

- Out of all the Ultramarines, Caedo is by far one of the most intense kissers. This man will have your feet kicked out from under you (figuratively and literally, due to his height difference) and almost every one will feel like he thinks it's the last. It almost feels like it's bruise sometimes, but it's far too enjoyable and ruthlessly romantic to ever complain. He's trying.

- He loves your bare skin, be it scarred or unscarred. It's naturally just softer and more delicate, and sometimes he'll hold your hand just from the feeling of your warmth against his callused palm.
