Of course there are stupid questions, and if you have one, you had better ask it, before you go and do make a stupider mistake. Stupid questions are more important than intelligent ones. I’m willing to bet more people die because of stupid mistakes than because of intelligent ones.

Fandom: Legend of Korra Summary: AU, takes place after the end of S1. Pairings: Unhappy Amon/Lieutenant is pretty unavoidable. Rating: NC-17. Also, there is self-injury, but maybe that goes with the territory when 3 of the central characters in the fic all fight like Depressed Leeroy Jenkins.

The Guardians | Vladimir Antaki

These places are sometimes magical, overloaded with elements, colours and stories, guarded by these characters who are sometimes touching, funny, quirky, and at times frightening. 

The photos that I take are often the only memory that this “Guardian” will have of him/herself in their daily environment. This photo can be the only visual record of the existence of this place, the only photographic memory. People pay less and less attention to their environment. They are always in a hurry, they don’t take the time to spend time with one another. Unfortunately, these places will one day no longer be around. This is one of the reasons that compelled me to want to document these “guardians”.

Having one-sided beef with one specific character is so funny. Like I can see a million characters who do terrible things and be like “whatever.” But then there’s one specific motherfucker who pissed me off so bad that I’d run them over at a red light if given the chance.

"actions speak louder than words" unless you’re a writer, in which case you’ll spend 300 pages describing a character’s inner turmoil while they stand perfectly still in a room.

Woke up last night due to being too warm, and I have a bedroom door that opens onto a fairly secure garden, so I left the door open and thought, 'I hope the local fox doesn't get in, because they can be really nosy'. I then went back to sleep.

I then dreamt that two fox cubs were sitting close by and watching me, but instead of thinking, 'oh, how cute!' or 'are these my SPIRIT GUIDES???!' my only thought was, 'are they sitting close because they have fucking rabies?'

(I do not live in a country where rabies is endemic.)
