i think we should talk about degendering more as a very real form of transphobia. you should not be calling a trans woman "they" when she's explained her pronouns to you. you should not be calling her a "person" instead of a woman. she's not too gnc, she's not too androgynous, you're not "confused" about her identity, you're degendering her. I fear we've gotten to a point we've forgotten the very basics of this movement is "trans women are women" and "trans men are men", and not just "trans people are someone who's pronouns you have to memorize so you don't offend them." you see her as a man in a dress and it pisses me off

aelwyn being told by angwyn to search adaine's mind and aelwyn trying to stick up for her by saying "she's just a baby" like i know we've already covered the amount of self-loathing she has for herself regarding adaine but the fact that in her mind, even after all this shit, adaine is still just a baby, that's her baby sister, she's a baby and aelwyn's stood by for years and years and watched her get abused and mistreated and even though they're not far apart in years at all--in high school at the same time!--it still makes a difference that she's that bit much older, and in her heart of hearts she hates herself because she let this baby, her baby sister, face all this shit alone--that she was part of the problem because she was too afraid to stand up to their parents... UGH doomed siblings my beloved.

Aelwyn Abernant is a tragedy.

She’s the eldest daughter, broken from such a young age and bent to her parents will, at the expense of Adaine and of any chance Aelwyn had to live her childhood as a child and not as a perfect daughter- and so she ended up manipulated and abused, with drug use and all the likes in high school.

Her own little sister saw her as a villain because she was. She was a villain and she was complicit in her parents plots but she was also a child. And then she was tortured, not allowed to trance, broken from the outside in and she’ll never know everything that she lost in that year, and Adaine saved her, but she didn’t, really. Nothing could really save her, really fix that.

Aelwyn Abernant is a goddamn tragedy.

The real thing with ADHD is not "I forgot", but that forgetting is this ongoing process. I remembered! And then I forgot.

At ten this (hypothetical) morning I remembered that I have a meeting at six. And then from 11 through 3 I worked on other stuff and had zero thoughts about that meeting. Maybe even thought about what I was gonna do with my evening at home. Got attached to the idea of taking the time to make a good dinner, maybe play some video games.

And then at three I said, "Oh! Fuck!" and remembered again, hopefully long enough to set an alarm. And then I went to the bathroom and remembered that I need to clean the counter and spent twenty minutes cleaning the bathroom and went to get a snack and then at five I said, "OH! FUCK!" and had to scramble to dress like a real adult and get out the door.

It isn't one clean forgetting. It's a constant process of forgetting and then, with an exhausting adrenaline spike, remembering. And then forgetting. Baby, I can forget the same thing more times in a day than you ever forgot your parents' anniversary.

We had an absolute blast at both Dublin live shows, this cosplay was from the first night at Dublin. The crowd was amazing, people were super nice, and there were amazing cosplays all around. Primsy even got Siobhan's d12 after the show, 10/10, I hope they do a tour like this again!
