A sound soul, dwells within a sound mind and a sound body... My name is Maka Albarn. I am a miester. My weapons a sycthe named Soul. We attend Shibusen in order to collect 99 kishen and the soul of a witch. Then I can make my weapon a death weapon. Just like my mom...

"Not really... I mean theres only one way to hold a scythe, although I wouldn't specify as liking or disliking it. It's the only option..."
Dear everyone,
“So you are not denying it Maka?”

A Symmetrically Sound Soul?
That book has to be here somewhere...
Maka leaned against the ladder, her fingers wrapping softly against its wooden handle, her opposite arm outstretched towards the row of books. She touched the spines of novels, reading quickly over each of them before passing onto the next one. Was it here? Nope. No. No... Not even close...
She let out a sigh of frustration, slowly wheeling the ladder over. She took a solemn look at the library, the amount of books that filled their shelves. By the looks of things she was going to be here a while...Â

Maka turned back, determined to find her book. The library was fairly quiet, aside from the odd student or teacher that walked along their halls. She was so concentrated she didn't even hear the door open, or see the one that walked through it's entrance...Â

She quickly apologized, becoming more lenient with her hold on Kids  arm. She smiled when the grocery store came into view before dropping his arm all together. An accomplished sigh escaping her lips.

"That wasn't too far off was it?" She grinned back at him before gesturing him to follow her. "It's a little small, but I really like this store. It has a lot of variety of food." She mused, disappearing through the doors.Â

Kid allowed himself to be dragged back down the street, since he had no idea where it was anyway. But Maka was going a little too fast for him.

“Careful, at this rate we’re bound to trip.”

"Chrona..." Maka couldn't imagine being happy in a place as dreary as this. But to Chrona, perhaps it was a much better living arrangement then what had been with the witch. Maka couldn't imagine living with Medusa in the slightest. It must have been awful for poor Chrona...
"As long as I'm here, nobodies going to be mean to you. As long as i'm here you don't have to be afraid." Maka reached to the side, grasping Chrona's hand in her own. "I'm going to show you how wonderful the outside world can be," she let a large smile crawl onto her lips, looking over at the swordsmen.
Chrona's past was in the past, Maka couldn't do a thing to change it. But as long as she exists in the future, she was going to help Chrona to the best of her ability...

“What do you mean…? I like it here.”

“It’s nice and quiet, I get the whole place to myself and no one yells at me or hurts me.” Temporarily free of the witch’s catastrophic clutches, the swordsman was happy to be in such a dainty place. There weren’t people to interact with, but he was completely used to that and was more than happy to accept the sad fate. She frowned when Maka looked back at her. If Maka was sad, then Crona was sad.Â

Maka frowned the moment her father was mentioned. Her fingertips tightened on the pages, flicking them to the other side without bothering to look at them. "Papa's an idiot. Going to stupid bars like that," she huffed to herself, her eyes glaring at the text.

"I don't know what my mama saw in him."
"That I don't know yet Maka I am just making dinner up as I go along like normal. Well we know when it's quiet that Blair isn't around, plus she would only be making fish anyways. Plus she is always walking around she might be at that bar thing that your old man goes to."
He laughed as he looked at the other over his shoulder a little.
