He vuelto a ser una niña

Cómo explicarlo. Tengo la misma sensación de cuándo era más niña pero 10 años más tarde.

Desde que tengo memoria, mis hermanos han sido todo para mí. Mis guías, mis modelos y mis consejeros; bueno, hasta por ahí.

Lo complicado con la familia es que cuando se separa nunca vuelve a ser la misma. Gritemos y lloremos lo que querramos, nunca será lo mismo. Lo siento.

Amanecí con un dolor de cuerpo increíble, resultado de la altura en el lugar que me encuentro. Siete de la mañana en Cochabamba City y lo único que me interesa en ese momento es buscar mi celular (tanta es nuestra dependencia, me sorprendo cada día más). Estoy pegada dos horas seguidas a mi celular, hueveando en facebook y pasando el tiempo hasta que tres tristes tigres cruzaron la puerta del trigal; un recién llegado y dos asentados a la fuerza. Ambos traídos por el amor.

Los afanes del recién llegado nos traen al final a una mesa redonda, siete sillas y un festín de desayuno que sueña toda familia felíz. Risas y charlas, anécdotas de ayer y hoy, todo para hacerme llegar a un mismo punto. El mayor es el mayor, el menor es el menor, el tonto seguirá siendo tonto y los que no son de sangre pasarán.

Entre chiste y chiste hay algo de verdad. Puede que sea sólo mi percepción pero tengo la ligera sospecha de que hay algo negativo que me rodea. En fin, la perseverancia no es lo mío.

Camp Gritty 2017 It’s do or DIY: Dip Dye Party

If tie dying sweatshirts in the woods with your best friends doesn’t just scream summer, we don’t know what does. We were so stoked when artist, Charlavail asked us to be a part of Camp Gritty for the second year in a row, and we already had unicorn colored dreams of what our Vans Girls DIY would be this year.

We worked with Charlavail to bring our candy coated vision to life with an epic dip dye party in the middle of the wilderness. First things first, we needed the perfect canvas for campers to dye at our party. Of course, Charlavail delivered the epitome of cuteness overload— an illustration of a Gritty camper roasting ‘mallows over a campfire in her favorite pair of Vans for our sweatshirts (we will be saving this sweatshirt… forever).

Campers were greeted at our magical DIY station with a sweatshirt and all of the pretty dip dye colors their hearts desired. It was pure magic watching campers create unique colorful pieces that reflected their bright personalities.
